Everything worked perfectly easy set up used on coleman pool

This is the 2nd sand pump that I bought, the first one being a Swimline and it was TERRIBLE. Leaked everywhere. This one is identical to the first one, but it works like a dream. No leaks and is very powerful.

This pump has made a drastic difference in our above ground pool! We had another brand that we purchased on Amazon before this, and we constantly battled with poor filtering and algae. This kept our pool clear ALL summer!

The clear plastic lid on the filter requires a 3/4 " scrap wood to tighten down enough to keep it from leaking. The large blue sand cannister developes leaks in the bottom three stand offs that were actually plastic injection sprues when made and defective because they were not properly sealed. I am attempting to order new blue cannister only- yet very difficilt to order seperately from entire unit. Frustrating!

The pump does a good job and has plenty of suction and water flow. The filter works as expected and collects a lot of stuff. I used the filter balls and they catch very small particles. So, the end result was very good and I am happy with it. On the other hand, the instructions were some of the least helpful that I have ever encountered and some things were just plain wrong. I had to do some Internet research to figure out how to get the filter set up and what the different parts were used for. BTW, the strange circular item that looks like some kind of collar is used to hold the standpipe in the middle of the filter while you add sand or filter balls. It is critical but is not even mentioned in the instructions. You can get it all figured out with a little effort and the end product so far makes it worth the extra work. With instructions that bad I really wanted to give it a three or perhaps less, but the final product worked so well that I made it a four star.

Used for 3 years now has worked perfect

My pool was super clean this Summer. My neighbor helped me set it up. Absolutely love it. I don’t jnow how I survived without it.

Perfect size and shoes a great job at keeping our pool clean, first time using a sand filter and I have to say also that we changed our pool over to saltwater anyway it was very easy to set up and hook up and did an awesome job at keeping the pool Crystal Clean back wish washing is a snap just press down turn the dial and it will backwash press down turn the dial back to rinse press down turn the dial back to filter can't get no more simpler than that first year of using worked flawlessly can't go wrong I must purchase if you're looking at wanting a clean Crystal Clear Pool

My 15 foot above ground pool came with a normal crappy pool and it goes green fast even with chemicals. I bought this little unit and put less than a bag of sand in it from my local pool store and hooked it up to my very green water pool and over night with a shock put in it before bed my pool cleared up to Cristal clear and now takes way less chemicals to keep it in range. I highly recommend this pool filter for pools my size for sure. Mine is 15 feet across circle that is 5 feet deep and this filter works amazing.
