Sleek, Spacious, and Perfect for High-Airflow Builds
The CORSAIR 4000D AIRFLOW Mid-Tower ATX Case completely impressed me. The airflow design is excellent, keeping components cool without extra noise, and the included 120mm fans are quiet but effective. Cable management is intuitive and clean, making build setup straightforward even for first-timers. The tempered glass side panel looks premium and shows off the interior perfectly. The spacious layout accommodates large GPUs and multiple drives with ease. Thoughtful, high-quality, and performance-focused โ exactly the kind of PC case I love testing and recommending.

Amazing case For my first build ever.
As the title says, this was my first PC build ever. That being said, even though Iโm a building newbie, I still work in IT and am surrounded by tech, so I knew this case was a no brainer. Fantastic airflow, I mean literally amazing, it lives up to its name. Plenty of space inside for everything you need to do, and cable management was easy, like super easy. Only thing I could have wished for was: A: included a full set of front fans. B: make the top part actually removable, I looked at it and didnโt see a way, maybe Iโm dumb, but it didnโt seem like there was a way to take it off, which became kind of a pain when I wanting to plug things in on the top. This is not a dealbreaker however, I just have huge hands that didnโt fit well in that tiny space to plug fans etc in and the cpu power cabling. I admit, this probably could have been done ahead of time and maybe this was just a newbie problem lol. That aside, this case is solid, definitely quality parts when buying from Corsair. I love how simple it is to pop off the front grille and filter, as well as how the front of the case and back side kinda snap off and on, itโs literally strong enough that it canโt accidentally fall off, but not so strong that itโs tough to remove (still use the screws of course for 100% protection of falling off). I never leave reviews on Amazon, but honestly, this case was just the favorite part of my whole build. Itโs quality built, itโs got a nice dark black color and sexy style, and if youโre thinking about getting this case, DO IT, you wonโt regret it at all I can guarantee that. Lastly I just wanna thank Corsair for making fantastic quality products, and being a name you know you can rely on, which is a big deal in a world where having reliable parts in a pc build is literally the most important thing. I hope everyone loves this case as much as I did.

Absolutely Perfect
I purchased this case for a new build and have been using it for a while now, and it's still perfect. Build quality is excellent, and it's beautiful. No issues whatsoever fitting everything inside this behemoth. The amount of fans you can fit inside the case was the main selling point to me, but I LOVE the front and side tempered panel, it makes everything look so clean. Would highly recommend, this is a top tier case.

Great Case
Amazing case with plenty of space to build in, put fans for airflow and great cable management all at a good price.

Great Value
Great tower. Used it to build a gaming pc and it keeps it pretty dust free and the temperature under control. Looks great.

Intended for certain products
I use a Thermaltake kit which includes a pump/reservoir combo, and 240 rad. I also added a 360 rad before ever getting this case. I had to put the 360 in front and inlets pointing downward, since it was impossible to clear the cables at the top. The box that hides PSU might be common these days to look clean, but that was not so for me. I wanted to clear the GPU and this plate is not removable so I had to drill a fat hole through it. It got real crowded from that point on. I couldn't understand the SSD trays at all. I pulled them out and found there is no holes that lined up and so I thought; "well maybe we just slap it on there and drill to the case?". Nope, there's no way to screw anything in there and the brackets don't even come close to clearing the cables. So I just slapped on duct tape since it's in the back and I didn't want to deal with it. Negatives aside, I did come to appreciate the design and quality overall. It's still heavy duty steal that Corsair is known for. A few added accessories that makes assembly a bit easier. The panels swing out like a door before disconnecting, and after using the slide on feature for so long, this is a nice touch. No more shuffling all four corners to cram it shut. The filters and screens are really nice. They're magnetic, very sleek and don't use any cotton. For longevity and the ability to reuse the same screen, it is very niche. Also for the more important touches, yes it looks nice when put together and has plenty of air vents to work with. One vent happens to take place beside the PCIE for vertical cards as well. I have decent clearance under the top radiator for the ram sticks. To swap those stick out, I would have to remove 1 fan and nothing more.

Great case
I recently completed a build for a client in this case, in the Black variant. First off, to get the only bad part out of the way, the fans that come with this case are not great. They aren't terrible but I would have preferred no fans and have the price be dropped by a few bucks. I get why Corsair includes them, but still. If they were PWM instead of DC, it might be a different story, but I really dislike DC fans. I swapped the stock ones out, as well as added 2 additional Arctic P12 PWM fans. I'm normally a Noctua guy but these seemed like a quality option and they have delivered. For reference I got a 5 pack of the PWM (4 pin) Arctic fans for $34.99. Onto the good parts, and there are quite a few. For starters, the glass and the back panel are held on with high quality captive screws, so you won't lose them accidentally. The screw quality is on the better side from what I have experienced with other cases, meaning they are nice and hard. Cleaning the front dust filters is extremely easy with this case. At first I thought I would have to remove the front panel by unscrewing it, but then I found out that the process is very similar to the NR200 case from Cooler Master where it takes a moderate amount of force (really the "just right" zone of force IMO) but all of the parts related to holding the front panel on are either metal, or magnetic. This is a trend I hope catches on with other cases. The exterior filter is more protective than anything else, but the interior filter is very fine, which I know catches a good amount of incoming dust. For reference the inner dust filter looks to be about the same fineness as the "beQuiet! Pure Base 500DX" case, which I use for my personal rig. Next up, the cable channel on the back is actually useful. The straps have a small plastic bit that makes it easy to tighten them down. There is also enough of a gap here between the cable channel and the back panel to hold more than just the front panel cables without making it difficult to put the back panel on. This again is another thing I would love to see on other cases. Hell, I can even put the main motherboard power cable here and it still does not effect the panel. One more thing that I really like about this case is that there is a very slight amount of extra space above the motherboard. This is a very small thing but something that is greatly appreciated as sometimes it can be a colossal pain to get the CPU power cable through the opening in the upper left area near the rear fan. Bravo Corsair for this. Some other very small things that I would quickly like to note are the addition of a vertical GPU mount, on the back, in case you want to vertically mount your GPU and not have it fall over, this case supports that. This is not a feature I commonly use, but still it is nice to have for those that do. This next little thing might be far more common now, but I really appreciate PCI doors that feel quality and that I don't have to break off of the case. Most cases in the last few years have had this newer style, but still it is worth noting. Finally, the thumb screws to hold in the 3.5'' trays below the shroud is a very nice touch. While spinning drives are not very common these days (at least in the builds I have been doing for clients), it's nice to know that servicing these would not require any tools or any other parts removed from the case. Overall this looks and behaves like a very solid case. At the time of purchase it was $100 USD which makes it highly competitive in both this range, and up to around the $150-$175 range as well.
