Everything seems to stay nice and snug. I will say that the actual mount that holds your radio and mic does move around a bit, but not too much. It works for what I do. I use it in my car. Now if you have a Jeep, Truck, or any type of off road vehicle that you intend on using this with to support your radio then you will probably get too much movement.
