This is a very classy watch and reasonable in both size and price. In low light it looks like a deep maroon, but in the sun it really shows a beautiful red. Note that the color covers the dial, that fading at the edges shown in photos is only noticeable in low light and is done nicely. The numbers are applied, not printed on. The day window is very small and not very noticeable. I prefer leather straps generally and this one is fine for me. Maybe a $200 strap would be better. Probably. I will not replace it. In person his watch is better than the pictures and seems flawless. Now I have to make a Negroni cocktail…

I’ve had this watch a couple of weeks now and it keeps time great. It’s a perfect watch for every use but also has a very classy look! It has an automatic watch movement which seems to work fine. You can also wind the watch if you don’t wear it for awhile! A great watch for the price!!

Fully transparent here, I’ve had this watch for two months now. I replaced the strap immediately as most people recommended online and I’m glad I did because the original is very uncomfortable for me. Now I know you need to factor in the price for this next gripe, but, as people have mentioned, the automatic movement isn’t the most accurate. I’ve had to reset the time every couple weeks since it runs about 5 minutes slow. I keep it in a case that rotates the watch to keep it going. The positive? It’s a beautiful dial that really pops in the sunlight and it looks great on the cheap StrapCo leather strap in the picture. I’ll be keeping this one!

It was love at first sight for me. This green dial is phenomenal and after just three days of wearing it, I have lost count of the compliments it has received. IMO the wrist strap is poor. I also ordered a Barton replacement 20mm classic black leather with gold buckle and that looks and feels so much better than the stock strap. Many online reviews complain about the lack of the sapphire crystal (which is tougher than the stock) especially at this price point, but so far, so good. I'll primarily be wearing this when I am dressed up, which is not that often (I'm retired - no day job) so I am not that concerned. And really, if I (or you) wanted to, the sapphire crystals are not that expensive and could be easily added. This is not a diver so keep it as dry as possible. It is rated to just 5 bar so an occasional splash or a few rain drops should be AOK. Just don't shower with it. ;-) The users' manual is a download from Seiko. It is very easy to set (there are a few rules to follow for the date function) and after three days it has kept perfect time to the second. The second hand can be stopped so there are no issues to set to an exact time. It is automatic but can also be hand-wound (consult the manual) easily enough. I registered it on the Seiko web site - easy-peasey, for the three-year warranty. I absolutely LOVE this watch! It is my one and done for a dress watch.

Even though it is a beautiful watch, the green is darker than expected. & it is a bit too tight on the wrist for my husband. He is 6’5.
