Tropics Ube Halaya (Purple Yam Jam)

This ube halaya arrived quickly and well sealed, which I really appreciated. The flavor is excellent—rich and authentic, not overly sweet. I used it to make an ube cheesecake, and it came out perfectly with a deep ube flavor that wasn’t artificial or sugary. I also love that the main ingredient is ube, which really shows in the taste and quality. If you’re baking or cooking with ube and want something reliable and delicious, this is a great choice.

This went into my Ube Coconut Macadamia Nut bundt cake. The cake was a gorgeous purple color and tasted as great as it looked. If you haven't tried baking with Ube and Pandan, please do. Play with your food. Put a little purple in your life.

The ube halaya jam taste good. Its made of ube a super food. Great spreading on crackers or gor dessert.

This arrived with the top popped already and was leaking a small amount of purple liquid.

Literally, it was a little chunky for what I needed, but if you're not using it in baking that's probably a non-issue. Good taste, nice price.

Great flavor and our kids constantly request Ube pancakes. Mix it in with some whipped cream and get ready for a great breakfast treat.
