For years I struggled with bracialone and wrapping. Until I found this meat netting I was blessed

Using this for curing and smoking hams, and duck, opens up to big enough for a front shoulder of a hog.

Will circle around a chicken.
Hint: Pull a strong plastic bag over the chicken; then the netting will slide over much easier. Then pull out the plastic. and tie off the net.
