Kate McKinnon's books are the most exciting comment on beading I have seen in years and I just gave away over 10 beading books and still have a shelf full of beading books. The photography is spectacular. These aren't pattern books per se but inspiration books. Patterns aren't necessary. Look at the pictures, read the discussions and FLY.

Good technic book for library

Yes, eye candy- great inspiration- but NO instructions. Do not buy if you are not an advanced seed beader.... not what I expected.

I have been beading for over 15 years, and this is one of the most impressive books that I have ever seen. First-the book itself it printed on heavy stock with a spiral binder. Open anywhere, and it stays, which is very convenient. My copy was jammed in the mailbox. The book emerged unscathed. This book requires some previous experience. It is not a pattern book, It is a guide book. I LOVE the concept of teaching concepts. The purchase of this book includes online information. There are many photos of the works of others who have created their own designs using these concepts. I could go on and on, singing the praises of this book, but I am going to go bead now.

This is my favorite geometric book EVER! The photo's are inspiration on their own. The spiral back is the greatest-your book will actually stay open to a page on your work area. I have Volume I and didn't think it could get better BUT it sure did, I'm waiting for Volume III. Worth every penny!
