There was so much going on from Juliette getting taken away to the final battle towards the end and I really, really enjoyed every single page. I loved the book but the ending kind of felt so rushed to me and I’m still unsure about Anderson’s death after everything we’ve seen in the past. I also wished we could’ve gotten this in Aaron’s pov but that’s okay since we got it in the last novella which is my favourite part and the best way to end the series. I’m still not ready to say goodbye to the characters though so I will definitely reread the series again whenever I miss the characters! Review: Good quality book - Great book

Heart rendering, emotional and fascinating read. Absolutely recommend!
Omg, this was a nail-biter in the true sense! I had my heart in my throat the whole time I was reading this book. Absolutely fascinating. I am so in love with Mafi’s writing - it is gripping and captivating. I will not be able to say much about the story without it being a spoiler. Suffice it to say, the way the precursor concluded I had absolutely no idea what I was getting into. I never would have imagined such a turn of events. Nazeera, Kenji, Juliette, Warner everyone is incredible. Kenji is such a gem of a person! He does not hesitate to say what is on his mind. He says it as he sees it. His dialogues, his attitude was so hilarious that every time he appeared in the book there was a smile on my face. And then there is Warner - there was a point wherein I was so irritated with Warner. I mean the way he simply terrified everyone when he thought he lost Juliette was albeit painful but it was frustrating as hell. But then that is Warner for you! On one hand, where he is completely dispassionate towards others, when it comes to Juliette he is overwhelmed with emotions. He loves her so much, feels so much for her, it is as if he cannot even contain it in his heart. I just love the way he loves. Oh, my heart! What I have come to realize about myself (thanks to some hard-hitting books that I have read) is that I hate torture. I hate suffering and I hate pain inflicted by one human upon another. I understand that you need it in the story to be true to the plot but I for one cannot stomach it. Juliette suffers so so much in this book and it just got too much for me and that is the only reason I could not give this one a 5-star rating. Otherwise, I have not read such a gripping book in a long long time. I have come to love this series so so much. Heart rendering, emotional and fascinating read. Absolutely recommend!

A Bittersweet Finale of Love, Identity, and Healing
Imagine Me by Tahereh Mafi (published under the Farshore imprint) is the emotional and action-packed conclusion to the Shatter Me Series. This final installment brings together all the threads of the story, delivering both closure and powerful character growth. The novel continues Juliette Ferrars’ journey as she faces her past, her identity, and the truth about her origins. As secrets unravel, Juliette is forced to confront painful memories and make choices that will shape not only her future but the fate of the world around her. The stakes are higher than ever, with intense confrontations and emotional revelations driving the story forward. One of the strongest aspects of Imagine Me is its focus on identity and self-acceptance. Juliette’s internal struggle is portrayed with depth and sensitivity, showing how she learns to embrace both her strength and vulnerability. This makes her journey feel complete and meaningful. The relationships in the book reach their peak, especially the bond between Juliette and Warner. Their connection is tested but ultimately becomes a source of strength and healing. Warner’s character continues to shine, offering emotional depth and unwavering support. Tahereh Mafi’s signature poetic writing style remains a highlight, capturing complex emotions in a unique and immersive way. The pacing balances action with introspection, ensuring the story feels both thrilling and heartfelt. What makes this book a great read is its satisfying conclusion. It ties together long-standing mysteries while delivering emotional payoff for fans who have followed the series from the beginning. Overall, Imagine Me is a powerful and memorable finale. It beautifully combines romance, action, and personal growth, making it a must-read for fans of the series.

I am building my library and amazon is doing a great job providing original books in such pristine conditions. The book doesn't have any scratch or dent, that's why I am too happy.

A Very Anticlimactic and Disappointing Read
2.5 Stars! 2.5 Stars is probably me being super generous but the extra star is only for for the Warnette feels. Well..that was quite a disappointment. I was actually pretty excited when she decided to continue the series because it actually seemed to be going somewhere interesting(Also more Warnette). The last book was a disappointment but I chalked it up to the book being a filler to lay down some foundation for the finale. But unfortunately this book was a huge let down.I wanted this book to give me something so much more than what I received. This book felt super rushed and so anticlimactic.None of the characters got proper closure. The first 60% were so confusing,it had me questioning my ability to discern the plot properly because I just couldn’t understand what was going on.The plot seemed to be going nowhere.Just as I got to grasp the plot a little,we got the epilogue. I wasn’t sure why the story was alternating between Kenji and Juliette. As much as I loved Kenji,I am not sure I wanted to see the plot through his eyes. His POV lacked any emotional connect and his humour could only carry so much of the plot. Juliette’s POV were a mess. She wasn’t even herself throughout the whole book which was supposed to be a conclusion to her story. Some chapters were a little disturbing to read and I wasn’t even sure of how it would even affect the plot.It seemed so random and out of place. Tahereh’s writing is something that I’ve always admired and this is no exception. Some of the lines were truly beautiful. But the writing wasn’t enough to mask the lack of a proper plot and execution. The main allure of this series was the writing and the characters. The writing aspect was amazing but the characters felt so hollow in this one.I would love to get Warner’s POV when he went psychotic.I would have loved Juliette to be Juliette for the majority of the book. So many threads left untied. It was not a conclusion that these characters deserved. It was rushed, sloppy and not well thought out at all.

One of my fav series🫶
I’ve absolutely loved this series and have devoured it.. but the ending to this one felt very anticlimactic. Between the back and forth to Oceania, and the Supreme Commanders becoming their own demise, this ending just left me feeling like it needed more. Everything felt rushed in the last few chapters and was a little disappointing. Instead of Juliette fighting Warner after all the supreme commanders killed each other, it felt as though there should have been more action? It was supposed to be a full on war, and all the leaders of the war ended each other then left Juliette to fight the love of her life? What was supposed to happen had she succeeded? I know there’s more books to this world as well as a novella to wrap up the original Shatter me series, and I hope they wrap up everything better, because this book felt very unfulfilling. I love that the series was extended after the original trilogy, it just felt like this one was missing something.

not for the faint hearted
This novel breaks all the rules of plot structure. It starts on a climax, builds to another, and another and so on until it ends on an emotional climax! This cannot be the end.

Imagine Me
Imagine Me is an intense, emotional rollercoaster that took me through every high and low of Juliette, Warner, and Kenji’s journey. Picking up right after Defy Me, the story wastes no time plunging us into chaos. Juliette, finally finding a semblance of peace at the Sanctuary, is ripped from it when Emmaline invades her mind. Watching Juliette lose herself again was heartbreaking—her memories wiped, her identity threatened, and her vulnerability laid bare. The tension of seeing someone so strong reduced to a weapon for the Reestablishment was palpable, and it made her eventual triumph all the more satisfying. Warner’s arc during this book is hauntingly beautiful. After Juliette is captured, he becomes like a ghost—haunted by worry, loss, and helplessness—but he never stops fighting for her. His grief and determination are layered with the trademark Warner intensity, and you can feel the weight of every step he takes toward bringing her back. Kenji, too, is incredible in this book. Despite struggling with the trauma of Juliette’s capture and the overwhelming stakes, he never breaks. He remains a pillar of strength, showing resilience and unwavering loyalty. The mission to rescue Juliette is edge-of-your-seat thrilling. Warner, Kenji, and Nazeera team up to save her, navigating danger and confronting the Reestablishment with courage and determination. The teamwork is inspiring, showing how loyalty, love, and friendship can overcome even the darkest manipulation. Watching Warner reclaim Juliette, despite everything Anderson did to her, is a cathartic moment. It’s not just a physical victory but an emotional one, showing the power of love and trust to overcome control. The climactic confrontation with Anderson and the supreme commanders is brutal, intense, and completely satisfying. Juliette’s powers, once a source of fear, now serve as a symbol of her reclaimed identity. The final battle, including the takedown of the supreme commanders, is fierce and empowering, marking a definitive end to Anderson’s reign and setting the stage for a future shaped by choice rather than control. Overall, Imagine Me is a perfect, gripping conclusion to Juliette’s journey. It’s emotional, thrilling, and deeply satisfying. The character development, particularly Warner’s ghostly grief, Kenji’s unwavering strength, and the trio’s teamwork to save Juliette, makes it a standout finale. The story closes with hope, healing, and new beginnings, leaving me both heartbroken and elated for what comes next in their lives.
