These are the only hair bands I will use again! I have very thick hair that just LOVES to destroy run of the mill hair ties. Individual stands are thin, but I have a lot of it. It's nearly straight, just a touch of natural wave to it. It's not chemically treated in anyway, I have no damage, and it's on the dry side.Before finding Scunci no-slip I would go through hairties like crazy. The thickness of my ponytail would stretch elastics beyond use in a matter of hours or days (if I was lucky). It wasn't uncommon for the darn things to snap the very first time I tried to use them. I stumbled across these one day and never went back. Out of the five packages I've gone through in the past few years, two or three have snapped. They take forever to stretch out past the point of usefulness. I find them to be incredibly easy to use, they never pull out my hair beyond the stay strand that gets tangled now and then.There are many reviews stating that these will rip your hair out, but I simply must disagree. These things were designed to stay put, they are not made to slip in and out of your hair. When you need to adjust or remove them, do not try to pull then out with out swift tug. Hold your ponytail steady with one hand and slowly slide the jelly hairtie out with the other. This is how I remove mine and I've never had hair ripped from my scalp with this brand. However, I do see that several reviews of this nature aren't verified, so it's possible they purchased a similar product. I mistakenly bought a pack of gel hair ties made by a competitor of Scunci. Their product did yank hair out, with bits of root attached, no matter how gentle I was.Give these a try if you are like me and really could not use regular ponytail holders.

I have fine hair, and it's very hard to find a ponytail holder that will stay in my hair all day. These are wonderful. They don't fall out, and stay in your hair all day. I like the neon colors, and the ponytail holder are one piece all around. So it won't wear out. When I run out, I will definitely buy these again.

I have always had long thick curly hair that ends up in my face. I’ve tried every hair band under the freaking sun known to man, and all of them end up stretched out, slipped down, snapped off, or just too fancy for my hair.These are PERFECT. And then they stopped being sold in brick&mortar stores. My hair and I were in tears in the store aisles, wondering what would happen to us?! Amazon came to the rescue.Don’t get me wrong, these still end up stretched out after a while, but because they are silicone they grab every hair on my head and hold on. When you have what feels like 84 pounds of a pelt riding high, finding these to keep it off the back of my neck when it’s hot out or when I have a migraine -LIFESAVER.

These arrived as pictured, although the red is not as neon as expected and fades quickly to a violet pink. They are strong and rubbery, exactly what you should expect from this kind of hair band. They're not as elastic and easy on the hair and skin as typical ties, so unless you have a child's wrist the band will leave a mark on yours if you put it on your wrist, and hair will always come out after you wear it; you'll learn how to minimize the pain, but in general it's not a terrible thing.. As someone who used to swim, I recommend against using it for pool use because the hair pulling will hurt even more.Some reviewers might have mentioned a change in quality over the years. I got mine in 2015-16, and after some uses my bands would crack or snap completely. As they are exposed rubber, it could be due to many reasons like humidity/lack of, sharp objects, tearing them with your nails, etc. It's definitely a disappointment, so I have taken off one star. I rotate my colors daily now and store the rest out of the elements instead of wearing them 24/7 on my wrist, which helps.They have been a lifesaver for me, though, as my hair is now really long (reaching my waist) and other hair bands can't keep a high ponytail. In fact, this one is struggling at this point. But it stays in and keeps a ponytail for as long as you need. I like having reasonably long hair, so I'll use these consistently.

Works great holding your hair back.

I actually rarely use these for my hair, because my hair is very fine and breakable, and these hold so strongly, that they will easily break my hair, but I buy them primarily because they are the best, strongest, and most durable elastics I've ever seen, and can be used anywhere you need a good rubber band. I used them a lot for camping and backpacking gear, as button hold-downs and button extenders, for bundling utensils and cordage, for making tie points, all sorts of uses, and the fact that they come in many colors means you can use them for color-coding, too. I have never had one of these wear out or break. They are incredibly strong, stretchy, and durable.

Verwende diese Art von Haargummi seit Jahre, leider wird es immer schwieriger zu bekommen, daher super happy, dass es hier noch welche gab. Ich finde sie sind gleichzeitig haarfreundlich und halten sehr gut.

Love these so much I'm actually willing to pay more than I should for hair elastics. I had bought these elsewhere and over the years have lost or broken them, etc and nothing else compares so I found them here on Amazon and had to splurge a little.Shipping was fast and arrived earlier than estimated.
