Is it water tight and compatible with posca pens?

When properly applied, the coating is nearly as good as professional products applied with spray equipment, so it'll be watertight as long as it fully covers the parts and the parts have no moving edges or seams (which would of course make a crack that would allow water ingress). sharp edges or corners could also provide points where the paint could become damaged and break a seal, but this applies of course to any coating. I have no idea about posca pens, or in what way it would or wouldn't be compatible.

Is there any issues with temperature while applying? I would be using it in an unheated garage at 40 to 50 degrees or less on a surface equally cold.

6 quarters later, just for future people who swing by... Colder temps mean it comes out thick, and flows slowly. You're more likely to get runs, sags, orange peel, or possible reflow defects. Coverage will be lower. It also takes longer for the solvent to evaporate. If you're planning on sanding your clear coat, the it could be okay. If you want to gun it and forget, then it really needs to be warmer. Using a heat gun is risky. It's very easy to boil, burn, bubble, or otherwise damage the paint all the way through. A space heater is probably better, but beware of fumes in an enclosed area. I've been known to leave the house door open and insulated garage door closed, and just let the garage warm up for an hour or so before I spray.

Does this can rattle because mine does not?

Rattles are used to mix pigments in colored paints and primers. Clears do not need rattles

Best clear coat ever protectant. Buy it you welcome

Bought it to coat badges for my jeep. Was a little skeptical so I decided to test it. Put on a coat on my jeep old badge and threw it under intense UV light for a week. Came back after a week and badge was shinny and looked better good with no change in coating. It did not yellow or peal. The machine that I placed the badge under emits about 24,000 µWs/cm is UVC (100%) and AM1.5G spectrum (Arc lamp simulator). Yes that’s extreme but hey wanted to see. Then I decided to put it under a heat gun medium setting for 40 minutes and the coating still looked good so I decided to throw it under the machine for couple more hours and it looked good. Then I coated all my badges with it. I put 2 coats, waited 24 hours between coats. I am 100% sure that I will be good for at least next 10 years in most extreme conditions. Word of advice make sure you shake that can well for 2 minutes. I highly recommend it. Buy it. You welcome.
