SENNELIER Gum, White

Often throughout the years I've used liquid frisket for little things in a W/C painting and have been satisfied to an extent. Never really having to rely on the results. Just learned to live with it when used. I discovered just recently the Sennelier Gum drawing bottle with a thin needle like tube for applications. With a small amount of practice I was able to catch on and put it to use. This wonder little gem gave me ideas of a new and better use of frisket in my W/C. I must admit it does take some concentration to have a feel for this way of applying the frisket itself. I do see many possibilities- This Sennelier Gum is an excellent positive addition for my small studio. Thank you Sennelier:)

I like the applicator, but it is so thin it runs out too fast. I use it in my watercolor painting.

Definitivamente uno de los mejores y prácticos enmascaradores que he utilizado. Super recomendable, especialmente si quieres proteger espacios en blanco para pequeños detalles. Fácil de retirar y no mancha.

Great buy. My artististic little Picasso child is using this and preparing for first art show.

I cannot draw as delicate lines with the applicator as I expected. Sometimes blobs and bubbles come out of the tip.

The fluid is not coming out. I poked thru with a needle that's attached, nothing comes thru. It's broken. The liquid instead was coming out from the bottle around the screw on the walls of the bottle getting my hands dirty, I don't have time to return this product so I am reusing my old FineLine applicator bottle. Really disappointed as I was looking forward to trying this Sennelier Bottle with a ready to use applicator.

The applicator on this item seems to be a great idea for making fine lines--in practice, not so much. Big blobs and bubbles come out of the top (sometimes squirting out and going all over), creating large lumps of masking fluid where fine lines need to be. I would not waste my money on this again. Boo, Sennelier--you are better than this.

I found this one to stain my paper green. I could not get it off and it ruined my project.

I’ve tried other masking fluids in the past, but could never get the thickness quite right so it would rub off neatly. The applicator on this one is an absolute godsend. Made it really easy to control the thickness as well as being able to add extra little bits of detail. This fluid also changes colour when it’s dry so it’s easier to identify against white paper. I would definitely recommend this.

The needle point is very fine. Be gentle with the squeezing and watch for bubbles It will tear softer paper so test first
