Expecting it to be good but blown away by *how* good!
I was looking to replace my old shower speaker that had finally given in to old age and died and I came across this little gem. I don't really know much about the tech side of speakers so I really just based my purchase on the reviews. The vast majority (if not all of them) were predominantly positive with many favourable comparisons made with bigger, more expensive, brand name speakers. As I mainly used my old speakers to listen to music/podcasts/audiobooks while reading/drawing/painting/sculpting and - of course - showering, I wasn't exactly in need of something spectacular that you can use for a party or whatever so I figured I would give it a try. For such a tiny speaker (see photos of it on my hand, I have small hands, and an a5 notebook for size comparisons) it packs quite the punch! I have quite eclectic taste in music but the genres I mainly gravitate to are rock/metal/punk so I am fairly used to having music through speakers sound a bit 'tinny' and/or washed out because they don't usually cope well with big basses and screaming electric guitars. This one is unlike any other speaker I have tried. It's got a rich, full sound and handles the rock and metal genres like a dream. I have had several comments about the sound quality being fantastic for a Bluetooth speaker and my nephew actually spent a good five minutes looking for a proper hi-fi system before giving up and asking where the music was coming from. His jaw hit the floor when I pointed to this speaker and his exact words were "that little thing?!" in utter disbelief đ Not only is the sound quality brilliant but it is compact, easily portable so it can be used anywhere (even in the shower - although I can't remember if it is fully waterproof or just "splashproof" so I just stand it on the windowsill, it's plenty loud enough to be heard over the running water) and mains chargable so you don't have to worry about carrying/disposing of batteries and it's better on the environment. The charge lasts ages too so it doesn't need charging often - on my phone (Huawei p30 lite) it actually shows a Bluetooth connection battery level beside the regular battery level symbol so that you can see exactly how much battery the speaker has left when it is connected to your device. Honestly, you won't be disappointed with this speaker. It is definitely small but mighty! I will definitely be buying the same again when I eventually need a new shower speaker and am even considering ordering a few as Christmas/birthday etc gifts. For the price this thing is amazing!

BUY IT NOW!!!!
I bought it to replace a cheap B&M speaker and it's just so much better than I ever expected! It provides excellent sound and has a lot of bass. The fully customisable equaliser in the soundcore app is a huge bonus and really gives you good control over your music. It feels really high quality and is great value for money especially if you pick it up in the sale as I did for ÂŁ23. The battery life is great and it retains battery very well while powered off. It's small size makes it ideal for carrying around in a bag when you go out for the day or just to keep in storage. As I mentioned earlier, the sound is great and there is good range and power in the sound which matters if you are picky with your music like I am. Overall I'm extremely happy with the product as I always am with Anker products, I would rate it 10/10 and I would refer other people in the market for a portable speaker to this product.

Simple, portable, good sound quality and mic
Great compact speaker and mic. Small powerful and easy to take wherever you go. Great battery life too. Easy to set up and connect especially when Windows is being windows and Teams will not actually allow you to use the speakers or mic on your laptop.

Great little speaker for the price range
I bought two of these to replace a ÂŁ130 Sony speaker on which the Bluetooth connection was becoming very unreliable. While the Anker is not quite equal to the Sony, considering the difference in price and the fact that I bought two for less than half the price of one Sony, it is much better value for money and I'm still happy with the speakers. As a note, I ordered two at the same time and when they arrived one had clearly been opened and returned as there was no plastic wrapping around the box and both the box and speaker were marked. Do watch out for this if you are buying brand new items! I returned the unsealed one to Amazon and they refunded me with no issues. Pros: âą Small and lightweight, easy to carry around and place anywhere. âą Decent sound quality and volume - after playing around a bit with the Soundcore EQ app I was able to get a surprisingly impressive amount of bass and balance. âą Can pair up to 100 speakers together, so you can place them in different rooms if you're going to be moving around and don't need to carry them with you, or just use two at once for sound that fills a room a bit more. Other reviewers have shared the steps to pair speakers together which helped me a lot. âą It is water resistant which means you can take it into the bathroom/shower, although I prefer to keep it above the shower head so no water will hit it directly. âą Battery life is great, I don't know if it reaches the 15 hours advertised but it is more than decent enough anyway. Cons: âą As it's so lightweight it could be easily knocked over, and during particularly bass-heavy songs it bounced slightly on the surface it was sitting on! This can be solved by reducing the bass levels in the EQ app but if you do like heavy bass then maybe consider a less lightweight speaker. âą Pairing multiple speakers together is not the most straightforward process and doesn't always work. I find sometimes the speakers refuse to pair when connected to my laptop but work fine with my phone, or they don't always pair automatically when you switch them on. âą A strange and unexplainable glitch I've noticed is that when I open the Philips Hue Bluetooth app on my phone to control my lights while connected to the speakers, the sound glitches until I close the app and remove it from my app history. A minor inconvenience that initially had me thinking my speakers were broken already! I have not yet tried the speaker during a call but will update my review once I have. Overall this is a great little speaker and if you're looking for something in the entry or mid level range then I'm sure you'll be happy with this. If you are replacing an expensive, high end speaker I would suggest lowering your expectations a bit with this or considering something else.

Seriously impressive speaker that punches far above it's weight
My JBL GO has recently been retired in favour of this little speaker from Anker - I didn't expect much, the current JBL incarnations of the GO cost about the same as this, and my old one had 3W speakers that could at _best_ push out 5h of battery life if not maxed, and frankly couldn't reach that much after several years of consistent use since the battery had depleted. It sounded pretty good for it's form factor. This thing though, is a totally different class of speaker almost. The form factor is a bit different: I would class both as pocketable speakers, but the SC Mini3 is a bit bulkier since it more resembles half a soda can rather than a more traditional slim rectangle. This doesn't detract from my experience with it as it's still decidedly small - and the battery is an astounding 1,800mAh ; about the capacity of older iPhones, so 15h of playback according to Anker. The sound on this is incredibly good from a company who's main focus is charging equipment. The 6W speakers are definitely appreciably loud for a device as small as it is, and there is a **great** quality subwoofer in it where you can really hear the bass well which you can't on many small speakers. The amplifier could be a little better, as I can make out a minor amount of distortion on certain songs if literally maxed, however this again is a very minor negative. On top of this, a very welcome difference from the rest of the SC Mini lineup: like it's bigger SoundCore brothers, it's IPX7 waterproof. While I have no immediate plans to purposely test this, this generally means it's absolutely weatherproofed, and should theoretically work fine even underwater e.g. in a bath. It comes with a handy clip that I envision using as some sort of carabiner attachment. Unfortunately the included (good physical quality) cable is pretty sub-par (doesn't appear to be able to transfer data, only about 5W (5V 1A) of power which is a little strange for Anker, but I see this as a positive as hey - it's still a _free cable_ you get to charge it! To finish up this review, I **strongly** recommend this speaker if you're looking for a good quality speaker (that punches far above it's weight and would probably embarrass many bigger, more expensive speakers) where your main concern is regarding form factor, and want to bring it outside or near water etc. It's extremely good for this and will be a very welcome replacement for my old GO. UPDATE : This thing appears to be around 2.9-3.0" in diameter, which means it actually has the exact same base dimensions as a water bottle/can but is a lot shorter!! This makes it super versatile for me as I can fit it both in bicycle bottle-cages and my backpack bottle pockets. An absolute plus for this little gem.

Awesome for the size! Really fantastic short trip/hotel speakers!
These Anker Soundcore products just continue to exceed my expectations! I have two Soundcore motion booms, which are frankly astonishingly good for the price (I bought the two booms for the price of one JBL charge 5 lol), a pair of soundcore Bluetooth gym earphones and now my first (of at least 2) Mini 3's. I bought this for city trips now that things are starting to open up, these are small enough to fit in carry-on easily (weigh half a pound/250ish grams and are like half the size of a coke can). So really great for hotel stays and short trips. I am really, really happy with my purchase, and highly recommend these to everyone looking for a smaller speaker. Sound quality is truly better than you would expect, the package itself says "Size-defying bass"- and I'd tend to agree with that. When I first got it out of the package, I was shocked at how compact and light it actually is. Download the Soundcore app and set it to the Signature equalizer with bass up and it gives a really good, clean all-round sound profile for all types of music. The rubber bottom is necessary for stopping it rattle or shake on a surface, and you can see it thump if you hang it from somewhere using the built in fabric hook. It really is a impressive little package. At 85% volume and above it does start to fall apart a bit, with the bass being limited at that volume (like almost all Bluetooth speakers) and distortion does come through at 90-100% volume. But trust me when I say unless you are outside on a construction site or something you won't need to push it that loud, indoors I keep it at about 60-70% volume and find that really loud and balanced. Above that volume, or even two of these things in stereo will get you noise complaints! Get one of these on offer, and enjoy your savings and awesome sound!

I'm a fan! Great sound, great value!
This Soundcore Mini 3 speaker has amazed me with its sound quality. It looks and feels robust, is easy to use, and is great for taking about the house. I use it mainly for classical music, news and radio documentaries in the car, on the desktop, when cooking etc. It's great to take around the house when on the move inside. It also usefully amplifies my phone for some voice calls.. The bluetooth picks up my mobile throughout the house, and is a really strong and stable signal. Power of the sound is extraordinary for such a small device. Depending on your tastes and how popular you are, It may not be enough to rock at a party, but can convey both the subtlety of a string quartet and the power of a large orchestra when I listen within a few feet of it, which is perfect for me. Other music genres seem to come over well too. It would be great on holiday. It won't replace the hifi for serious music sessions, but for those many other times when some music would add richness to the day, its a real quality gem.

Whatâs not to love
I was on the verge of dropping ÂŁ130 on a big brand Mini speaker and then remembered how good Anker (Soundcore) stuff is, so took a punt. This thing is awesome - sounds fantastic and is way smaller than I expected. Keeps its charge, and the fact that itâs USB C makes it 100% more useful than the ÂŁ150 UE Megaboom I have thatâs charged via micro usb. Nice bass and surprisingly good at high volumes, this is now the speaker I use all over the house. No connectivity issues like Iâve had with other brands, though Iâve not connected multiple devices so couldnât vouch for how that works.

Sehr guter kleiner tragbarer Bluetooth-Lautsprecher

Beau design. Portée du Bluetooth trÚs satisfaisante.
