Delicious and fresh every time!
Buy this regularly for a Lockdown Grandfather who is a couple of year’s short of a century. He absolutely loves it and settles down to watch TV with a large slice and a cuppa. A repeat buy time after time for him, moist and fresh every time!

Dry as the Sahara
So I love love love angel cake and decided to treat myself with my shopping order. I sat down with a nice cup of tea and a big slice of the cake and wow, what a disappointment! I did think the buttercream filling was a bit sparse but eating the cake was like eating a dry cream cracker. I actually couldn’t swallow it as it absorbed every bit of saliva in my mouth and was still dry. I had to spit it out rather risk choking myself trying to swallow it which I have never done with cake in all my life. I would throw it out for the birds but I worry it would be a choking hazard for them too! Binned it and lesson learned - stick to Tesco Angel Cake which has a visible layer of buttercream between each moist layer of cake!
