Been using for about a year and it works well. Only rarely have I had the need to unplug and plug back into the phone because of an audio issue. Audio quality seems really good, my hope is this holds up for at least a few years. UPDATE: Well, I spoke too soon with my original review from a few months ago. The device no longer works when plugged into power. It will pass audio when no power is connected. But once the power is connected, it neither charges nor passes audio. My experience with two different brands of this type of device is that you should not expect them to last more than 18 months.
