Easy to install if you know how, greatly improves grip comfort!
I tend to dislike grips that are too small in diameter and grip them too hard. Adding Grip Puppies makes a big difference in comfort on a long ride. While the Amazon post says this size is recommended "except for Harley-Davidson... etc." the grips on my 2022 Street Glide FLHX measured 1.42" at the midpoint by calipers. There's a ridge at the outboard end of the grips that's larger than that but it's not a problem. I don't use hair spray, oil, water or anything like that to install these; an air compressor with a narrow nozzle is what I use. Get the end of the Grip Puppy over the ridge at the end of the grip, insert the air nozzle in the open end, pinch the end shut around it and shoot a little air into the space. The air acts as an air cushion, floating the Grip Puppy. Be prepared to push the Grip Puppy onto the grip when you start the airflow. Once you get it onto the grip to the point that pinching the open end shut isn't possible, run the nozzle tip around the edge of the end of the bike's grip and continue to push the Grip Puppy on. In my case, the Grip Puppy is about 1/4" longer than the bike's grip but I didn't trim it, just let it contract around the ridge at the end of the grip and called it good. On the throttle side, be sure your throttle has free movement to snap back to the closed position. I had to back off the Grip Puppy on that side slightly to ensure clearance. The Grip Puppies give me a larger diameter grip with a little resilience that's outstanding on long rides. Make sure you measure your grip diameter, check it against the allowable dimensions. I have Grip Puppies on my Can-AM F3 also. They tend to hold up for several years, even with the hot Nevada summers. Well worth the cost for extra comfort.

Perfect for relieving hand cramps
Every adventure bike I've ridden has the same problem - the grips are dirt bike sized. I'm sure that's fine for most people, but for me that's too small, my hands cramp badly just holding grips that small for any length of time. These Grip Puppies worked wonders, enlarging the size of the grips to something much more comfortable. They're soft which helps as well. I was worried about insulating the heated grips and rendering them useless, but the heat transfers through very well. For installation, soapy water or glass cleaner works well, but if you have an air compressor that works even better, shooting some air between these and the grips allowed them to slide right on. They were longer than the grips so I had to cut them short, and I did not measure the left side correctly so it's a little short but still usable. Once these wear out, as I expect they will, I'll be getting another set and hopefully measure better.

Good value, easy install
Great upgrade for $20. My stock scooter grips were crappy, soft gloves could grip them but my more protective hard leather gloves didn't grip well, causing hand fatigue on a half-hour commute. The texture of the grip puppies makes a huge difference, now I can simply roll my palm on the throttle for effortless control, without needing to squeeze with my fingers. The larger diameter is an improvement as well, for comfort and control. One thing to note: you may need to trim them to make sure you're not getting accidental cruise control. The puppies are just slightly longer than my throttle handle, so it was gripping the knob at the end of my bar and holding the throttle open. Had to take off a quarter inch, but even with that, install took only a few minutes. Couple drops of water-based lubricant and they slid right on. 5/5 product

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING!
I got these for my 08 Suzuki Hayabusa. My reasoning was that when I rode I would get pressure and red sores on the lower side of my palms after more than 30 minutes of riding. This is obviously uncomfortable and takes the fun out of longer rides. I installed these by putting some soapy water inside the middle, didn't have to soak them, and slid them on after 5 minutes of work each side. Installation is no issue. The GOOD: So they do work, it took a good amount of pressure off my palms and I didn't get the sores anymore and did a 400 mile trip. The BAD:these make the handle bars very thick. I have medium sized hands and it eventually caused more strain on my wrists holding onto this bulky padding. The throttle does not feel as responsive and fine when it's this big hurking handle. IN THE END: I realized it is not because the handles are too hard that I was getting these sores. It was due to the angle of sitting that put all my bodies weight resting on the handle bars WHICH IS NOT HOW IT SHOULD WORK. So I took them off, I bought some Heli-bar risers which are a little pricy around 150. They raised the bars up by maybe 1/2-1 inch and towards me more by half an inch. This COMPLETELY fixed the issue. No longer pushing against my handlebars, no hard spots on my palms and a completely different riding experience. I've put another 2000 miles with the stock grips and the heli-bars and have absolutely no issues. I would also recommend getting a good seat like Corbin, Sargent, mustang or other. These usually will be lower than stock and take more pressure off your palms as well. If you're having issues and pain on your palms/wrists while riding I suggest you fix the actual problem instead of adding more padding. My riding experience is just as good with the heli bars and I didn't have to compromise.

Look and feel surprising good.
The foam rubber on my original HD grips were shot and tearing. I cut off the foam and slipped these on as a replacement. They actually tucked under the end trim rings and look OEM. Comfortable and large enough to easily ride with an open hand.

Really helped!
I'm a new motorcyclist that started riding in April 2024. Never ridden before, except as a teenage boy, my cousin let me ride his automatic cruiser mustve been 50cc, probably and most likely less lol. And also once in Puerto Vallarta, smaller ATVs for a few miles, never shifted haha. Anyways. My right hand was constantly becoming numb and falling asleep. I ride a 24' ninja500 and after doing research I learned that vibrations are even worse on older motorcycles. So a lot of it is not being used to the vibrations. After applying the grip puppy, I noticed a significant difference in the numbing/tingling/falling asleep sensation in the hand. BUT, now my wrist was hurting, actual pain, not numbness. I started focusing more on relaxation and not gripping the handle bar so tight. In the beginning it's hard not to, you feel you have to hold on for dear life, and if you don't kung fu grip it, you might as well jump off. Well, that's how it felt for me in the beginning. Fun yet terrifying at the same time. But don't be so tense. Relax your upper body/arms and the rest of your body really. Grip/hold on to the tank with your legs/knees. Because riding a motorcycle is a new skill that requires learning new concepts, you're going to be tense in the beginning. As you practice, you'll gain more confidence, you'll become more relaxed on the bike. Overall grip puppy helped with my right hand falling asleep. Reduced vibrations. Easy to install, follow instructions.

They’re the okayest grips ever
Maybe I expected them to be a bit more spongy, but they’re actually quite firm. It helps a little bit with vibration but not a whole lot. They make the grips fat and I don’t think I the like that. I’ll likely remove them.

Hacen perfectamente su función
Hay que tener en cuenta que aunque sea un producto excelente, aumenta el grosor del puño, por lo que hay que tenerlo en cuenta para las manos que sean pequeñas. Ojo!!!!!
