ESPN Classic Ringside: Top 10 Heavyweights

I bought this for my father who has been a huge fight fan for most of his 95 years. He doesn't watch much TV but he has watched this several times. He really really enjoys watching the famous fights he's heard about, read about and talked about but never actually seen. He had a friend who was a doorman who told him the most money he ever made was at the Chicago hotel where the Tunney-Dempsey fight in 1927. He made $100. I think that was the Long Count Bout and he finally got to watch it. Anyway, because of his continuing enjoyment of this DVD, it's well worth the price.

Great gift for my 85 year old dad who loves boxing and is stuck in the house

DVD was as described. This DVD was projected on a big screen TV for a friends birthday party. I'm not a boxing fan so I couldn't speak to content, though it seemed to be a hit.

Pretty good analysis and great boxing fights included in the film.

too much commentary. The commentary by the experts is too much and unnecessary. Also, there was more talk than actual fights in the almost 5 hours of DVD. I would have preferred more visual and less audio.

To much unnecessary video could have added more fighters and commentators on the panel.

Too much of affected “personalities” blagging. Fights poorly edited and proportionately too little vis-a-vis the tedious narration.
