Spec Ops Tools Pry Bar, Crowbar for Demolition & Nail Pulling, High-Carbon Steel, 15" Flat Pry Bar

This was purchased to replace a 36" "gooseneck" bar privately branded by one of the big box lumber yards. Last year I'd been pleased with the performance of the 36" while replacing exterior cedar trim but a couple weeks ago it actually bent when using it for heavier work. My search for a wrecking or demo bar on Amazon found this and I'll admit to being a little put off by the price, especially considering it's only a 30" bar but this thing probably weighs more than 1.5 x what the big box bar weighs and it's a much more thoughtful design, like whoever came up with its subtle features has a very clear working knowledge of this type of tool. Fit and finish are excellent for a tool thats going to get the crap beat out of it. A little extra fulcrum material is added in all the right places and this is downright heavy so I expect it to take a beating with a smile. Good Job Spec Ops Guys! Update: A year of heavy use later and this bar continues to exceed my expectations. I thought it might suffer some because of its shorter length but honestly I don't even notice because it offers such superior leverage. It helps me get more done quicker, so it's more than paid for itself, and there's nothing like the feel of a quality tool in your hand even if it's used for demolition. If this was ever lost (doubtful) I'd buy another in a heartbeat. I also have the small flatbar for EDC on my toolbelt and for its small size and weight it's an extremely capable and useful tool. Thinking about getting the 21" flat bar based on the quality of the other two tools.

Game changer this is a bmf get one ! Demo anything. With ease

Every mechanic, carpenter and DIY'er needs one of these. Almost everything advertised is spot on. This crowbar is the perfect size and it's very strong as well as light. I know it doesn't really matter but this crowbar looks good as well. This crowbar is well dressed, meaning the burrs and edges and sharpened areas have been cleaned up properly. The description of this tool says "Spec Ops," (Special Operations). That's fine but as a former Army Infantry soldier who has used the tools in a "Breach Bag" this one is not in there. This the reason I said "almost" in my second sentence in this review. I get it though, marketing words. That aside, I would highly recommend this tool. Get one and you won't be disappointed. Oh yeah, my cat Ziggy gives it high marks as well (see pictures).

I’ve used a lot of pry bars over the years, but the Spec Ops Pry Bar is on another level. The weight and balance are perfect, heavy enough to give real leverage but comfortable in hand for precision work. The grip feels secure even with gloves on, and the forged steel construction can take serious abuse without bending or chipping. I’ve used it for everything from demo work to popping trim and decking boards, and it hasn’t let me down once. You can tell this thing was designed by people who actually use their tools. Absolute must-have for any pro or serious DIYer. The fact that 3% goes back to Veteran causes is also a plus.

Extremely sturdy and robust tools. Used all 3 for heavy demolition work and it made the job so much easier. Each tool complements the others very well. All tools survived many ~8ft drops without any issues. Highly recommend.
