High quality easy to use
Thus far this seems like a high quality product thats easy to use for most people. Im unsure on how long the memory will last but thus far it has worked just fine.

Excellent secure drive, made in USA!
I’m happy to report that first of all, this product is made in the USA! I love the built-in keypad for the pass PIN. It allows the drive to be locked at a hardware level and also rids the need for installing software which can potentially be hacked. I use it with my iPad Pro and Macs. It works right out of the box on Apple systems, despite a note in the instruction sheet that you should format it for Macs first. No need to. Only minor con is the instructions are poorly written. But luckily the gizmo is really easy to use. Just know how to set the PIN and then how to unlock the drive each time. Once you know it’s intuitive enough.

Inspires confidence
Got this to replace my aging Kingston DataTraveler secure drive, which had begun to show signs of battery health. It works identically, except that if you don't access it for a period of maybe 15 minutes or so, it automatically turns off, which gives you the "disk not ejected correctly" warning. No harm done though; it's just that my old Kingston never shut off from not being accessed. But I suppose this may be a security feature of the Apricorn (e.g., if you walked away from your computer and forgot the drive was open), so it's not necessarily a bad thing.

Easy to use
It has simple instructions and like that its compatible multi platform since encryption is on the actual lockpad.

Have used these for years. Love them. One big fail in this newer model.
I have broken a thumbnail and then scratched the heck out of the thing pulling the cover off. The tolerances are wrong and it's way too tight. Never a problem with the older models. Really, I cannot pull the thing out of the sleeve without a tool. Maybe if I put a lanyard on it it will be fine but I don't usually do that with these. Otherwise, I highly recommend these and am excited about the new features over ones I've had in the past. Love the company but the fit of this sleeve/cover is a real fail. Not sure yet what I will do about this.

Security
I didn’t want anything with a potential fail rate such as fingerprint tech, security flaws like online codes and other hackable issues. These eliminates all those concerns, is insanely well made and works every time giving me piece of mind for my valuable documents such as my dissertation, credit card info, log in codes and more. Just get it

FIPS 140-2 not FIPS 140-3
Great drive no problems with it. I noticed that the Amazon product title calls it FIPS 140-3 which it isn't its FIPD 140-2. Elsewhere in the product description it's correctly called a 140-2. Doesn't affect my rating which is 5 star.
