These heated gloves earned our Best rating because they generated the most heat and were the most comfortable. On their highest temperature setting, The Best model generated almost twice as much warmth as lesser gloves, and panelists praised them for dispersing heat across the top and bottom of the hand and all fingers. While other models lost power after only 6 1/2 hours, the rechargeable battery in The Best Heated Gloves warmed hands for more than 12 hours on low power (three hours on highest power). Unlike lesser gloves that were found to be stiff and clumsy, The Best Gloves are made with a soft Thinsulate lining and waterproof material that panelists praised as "Very soft inside, flexible outside, making it easy to grab things." Cinches at the wrist keep heat in and cold out, and a zippered, windowed pocket allows easy access to the battery and provides a quick glimpse at the temperature setting. A press of the battery's large button changes the temperature to one of four levels. The 7.4-volt batteries recharge in four hours with included AC adapter. Imported.
