So impressed with this overlay to cover up the piano black that was just getting scratched up and always dusty in my 2018 E300 4MATIC. This was super easy to install and looks like it came from the factory that way. I included a pic before I covered the sliding door to show the difference and a couple pics of the completed job to show how nice it looks. I ordered this on a whim when I purchased all weather mats, and it’s just fantastic. First try fitting it before removing the tape film covering to get an idea of positioning…after removing the film on the tape, I heated the exposed tape with a hairdryer for like 30 seconds before placing it and pressing. It looks great, feels super smooth, and no more scratches and dust. I even ordered a second one just in case I damage this one years from now and it’s no longer available.

Good product for the value. Will need to be creative when installing. Would have given it a 5 star but there were blemishes in the pattern.

Hey after one day of installation i found a crack in the councel which sucks because it looks beautiful.If possible can you send another one? Not sure if its manufacture defect or poor material?
