Great Hot Red Curry Paste!
Just got it last night and made dinner with it. Outstanding! Nice heat but not too hot, great mix of flavors. I've tried a few others, but this is our new favorite. Great stuff!

I just bought 12 jars cuz I went thru three jars last month. I am not Indian. Ukraine so sorta deprived in the way to curry from scratch. I buy the 5-6 to a box musamun curry packs for spice powder. Or tikka massala here on Amazon. I fry a lb of cut up meat or chicken . Add to browned onion and six or more diced garlic cloves fried in ghee or olive oil. I add a can of diced or blended tomatoes. A box of coconut cream. Simmer. It is great!! But add two or 3 three big spoons of this curry stuff? Oh my god. Brings out the depth. Not too hot. But start slow!!!

This does not deliver as promised in the glowing reviews.
I cook curries a lot. This is nothing special. Best combine your own spices or buy Petak's curry paste. The compliments about fresh taste are bewildering to say the least. Far too expensive for what it is. The freshness depends on the sell by date and is simply a gimmick. May I add it has a strange after taste. I have bought some bad curry paste made in India, so buyer beware.

Delicious, high quality ingredients, full of flavor!
This is my secret ingredient added to store-bought curriess to level it up to that rich restaurant taste. I fry this up with butter and ginger before adding it to my recipe. Delicious!
