Overall a great electronic lock! ### ⭐ Yale refused to adhere to Warranty terms *by D***A on March 28, 2021* Update September 2023 I purchased SwitchBot Lock and it works for this door! It is way cheaper and has trivial installation. Works perfectly and highly recommend! Update August 2023 I rarely do a follow up review but I felt like I had to in this case as I was unable to get any traction with Yale support. The lock stopped working. The knob kept on turning freely without locking the door. Seemed like an actuator has gone bad. I contacted Yale and they asked me to take a video of the lock when it is removed off of the door. I complied. The lock seems to be working fine. I also checked that the door mechanism itself works - it does. Yale told me it is out of warranty But this lock is actually advertised as lifetime warranty on mechanical components. I explained that to the support folks but they kept on repeating that the problem is electronic and it is not! I am very disappointed in Yale - I will not be purchasing anything from themin the future. Original Review I just installed this lock on my Frenchwood patio door. It was super easy to do, I only had to enlarge one exisiting hole from 3/8 to 1/2 inch so that the wire connector would fit throught it.
