Works great. For the porpoises! Unit gets really hot. But no problems.

I use this with a fused cig lighter plug to feed 24-28v to a little tpa3116-based monoblock amp driving 8 4x6 sealed soundbar subwoofers in my car. I had the amp and the little subs so it was the cheapest way to fill in the bass a bit. As an aside despite the max output limitations (~87db/1w before cabin gain with roughly 60 watts on tap) its sound quality is on par with the SI and TC-sounds/Morel/DSP installs I've done for clients in the past. Seriously. No one-note boomy bass, just smooth articulated fill. Works great, doesn't get warm in my application (it's pretty cold around here so YMMV with heavy loads in a hot climate, but the case remains ambient) and hasn't skipped a beat. Not much to review, but worth noting that if you use it for a similar audio application involving fragile or high frequency transducers you may want to add a simple high pass filter on the amp outputs for the initial surge when turning the car on. In my application this minor thud noise doesn't matter, but anything close to dc can bypass crossover non-polarized capacitors and pop your tweeter.

I purchased this to boost the voltage for powering my Starlink Mini from a 12V battery. The standard Starlink cable uses small conductors that have too much voltage loss when fed from a 12V battery. This boosts the voltage to 24 Volts and the problem is gone.

I used this to bump the voltage for my star link so I could run a smaller wire in my canopy camper as well as not have interruption during voltage dips such as when starting a diesel heater. it works perfectly! came Packed well and the price is on point!

It works great. Our Starlink works great off battery.

12v-24v doesn’t work. It went from 12v to 8v. Rechecked wiring, incoming voltage. I ordered 2 and neither worked. Unfortunately, I missed the return date by 2 days. I won’t rebuy on from Amazon for this reason.

UPDATE 5/26/25. I received my replacement unit and while it didn't have the high-pitched whine of the first unit, it was only able to output13.5VDC which is nowhere near the rated 24VDC output. I would not recommend this converter. During my initial testing, I connected the boost converter to the 12VDC port on a battery bank. The battery bank displayed the unit was using 50–75 Watts when not connected to a load and was emitting a high-pitched whine. I'm not sure about the expected power draw, but I expected some power draw and the whine due to the conversion circuitry I then read the output voltage of the unit using a digital multimeter, which indicated the unit was only outputting 12VDC. I then verified the polarity of all connections and double-checked that the input and output were properly connected, and then re-tested with the same result. I contacted SUPERNIGHT support, they responded quickly, and they are sending me a replacement converter. I will update my review after receiving the new converter.

This unit has worked perfectly for me, with hundreds of hours of use at low-moderate power (15-60W) for a Starlink mini. I think the issues some other reviewers are seeing are due to running the unit at full advertised power. Typically, claimed power ratings are for ideal conditions, which are often only representative of brief peak outputs. For a unit like this, it's probably best to derate to 60-75% (~140-180W) max. Personally, I keep it well below 50%, and have had zero issues. The included spring connectors were a nice bonus, and very handy for another semi-permanent wiring installation.
