My child is a fan of non-fiction, but at his age, finding age-appropriate content has been tough. I kept looking for fiction to capture his imagination and get him reading. This set did the trick. He loves these stories!

Some scary scenes for young kids.
My son loves misters books but o e of the books starts with a murderer which scares him a bit and didn’t want to continue reading. Maybe for more mature readers than my 8 years old boy.

ネイティブの子ども向けのシャーロック・ホームズのリライト版。絵は子どもぽいし、英文は確かにやさしめなのだが、QRコードで聞けるAudioがわりと本格的。ラジオの朗読で聞くようなレベルです。翻訳で、ホームズは全編読んだはずなのに、詳しいことは忘れているのも多く、真相は？とワクワクして聞けました。シャーロック・ホームズは面白いと再確認して、原書全編に挑戦もいいかなと思わせられました。 10冊の構成は ボヘミアの醜聞／ブナ屋敷／６つのナポレオン／技師の親指／チャールズオーガスタス・ミルバートン／白銀号事件／ブルースパディントン計画／マスグレーブの儀式／株式仲買店員／最後の事件 よく知られた作品もありますが、マイナーなものも楽しい。

My child and I started reading a couple of them together, and now he reads them by himself; he even got the book and read it all by himself. The stories are really engaging. When I read them to my child, we couldn't stop reading, but we had to, for it was time to sleep. I think they did an excellent job in bridging Arthur Conan Doyle's stories. Once I find the other two book sets at a good price, I'll definitely buy them all.
