I bake a lot of recipes written by UK bakers and my results are definitely more successful when using this brand and type of flour. The price and size are reasonable and the brand is reliable. McDougall's always comes through when I'm baking a Victoria Sponge or steamed pudding. I highly recommend it.

This flour is from the UK and is extremely hard to find here in the US. It is different than "self rising flour", which is the blend available in the States.
