A: I hate to disagree, but a magnet strongly clung to my hammerhead. Maybe others meant that their hammer was not magnetized.

A: It's a Framing hammer, it has a waffle head. The Finishing hammer has a smooth head.

I work in concrete and I have been using this hammer daily for months. This is an all around great hammer. The handle is long enough to get a good swing and I get plenty of leverage. I find it easier to get to nails in awkward spots. Feels nice and comfortable in my tool bag. I really like the weight and it’s enough to drive in a 3 inch nail with two good hits. It feels balanced and functions perfectly.
