Discover for yourself as this extraordinary series is presented together in one complete collection like never before. Review: The pinnacle of the modern X-Men. - This series is pure gold. I loved every second of it. Even the side stories I enjoyed. I don't understand how they mismanaged this. There should have been at least 3 or 4 seasons. Everything from the art, sound, voices, and animation in general is a cut above. I was floored by the general voice acting on this series. And there are so many characters! And yet they do them all well! While it does complete a good arc, they were definitely setting it up for S2, which we never got, and that is a crime. You got three discs here, with some extras about the making of the series on the third disc, and there are also commentaries. I HIGHLY recommend this series. It pulls you through the creation of the X-Men, borrows from all the right parts of X-Men lore, and manifests its own stunning, consistent, and amazing world full of absolutely breathtaking characters and emotion. Man, this one being cancelled really hurt. This was a stunning set of episodes. Review: Classic cartoon age! - This was a great cartoon! Voices are spot on! The animation is well done, the storylines are compelling! Nerd out with the creators commentaries on the episodes, learn all kinds of stuff that inspired this classic!

I absolutely love this series!!!
I was a bit late in becoming an X-Men fan since I didn't really get into it until the late 90s. Ever since I've been completely hooked! The movies were pretty good. The first two were excellent, though the third seemed to go too off track. It was still okay, in my opinion. I found X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men: First Class quite nice, yet that's also from my point of view. Anyway, I loved the 90s animated X-Men series, X-Men: Evolution and now Wolverine and the X-Men! I haven't looked into the anime just yet; I might watch it before purchasing it. I do know that this particular series was very well written and the artwork is great! I admit that some episodes weren't as interesting as others, but in all it was a wonderful series. I hated how it was aired here in the United States; it took almost an entire year to see 26 half hour episodes! Still, it was worth the wait:) I've owned this complete season for a good while now; however, I just hadn't gotten around to review it until now. Some people didn't like how Emma Frost was written off. I've read things online where they say that they made her too soft. Well, she was softer, but still herself. It showed that she's not truly evil. She still was witty and even snotty and harsh at times, but not over the top. My only big complaint is that there won't be a second season:( It looked so promising too. There were three online petitions that I've signed along with millions of other fans. I was hoping that those would set a spark. For all of the fans out there, let's just keep our fingers crossed!

Good but not better that the one from the 90's
It was a nice attempt to bring back a succesful X-men animated series, some good plots but lacking in the animation quality. There are alot of scenes where you end up thinking that they could have done a better job animating the characters. At the end of the series you realise that the good stuff was about to begin with the appearence of Apocalypse. It's a good series but not better that the one from the 90's

This was nice
Ok, I'm a cartoon lover, I remember waking up on Saturday morning and seeing the first episode of X-men come on Fox, and it was amazing. Looking back on it now, it could have used some work but the stories where solid and the animation kept getting better of the years so no complaints. A few years ago there was X-men Evolution which was the X-men (most of them anyway) as children and teenagers growing into adulthood. Now they are all adults (more or less) Professor X has mysteriously disappeared along with Jean Grey and the team is all but completely gone. Then Logan comes back and I know at first I was skeptical because Logan's character is that of a follower, he's really not leader material, or he doesn't like to be. Still, that was the point so say the people behind the series, it's new and it puts the characters in new and interesting position, forcing them to adapt to circumstances that are typically way outside their comfort zone. It really does make for good TV. The animation is solid the guest stars and little extra mutants and Marvel characters that show up are a bonus. It's a great show, but then again don't take my word for it, watch the sucker and see for yourself.

A fine show unfairly murdered just as everything was about to kick off
If you have a Saturday afternoon to kill and want to see an extremely cool entry in the Xmen Animated universe then this is the series for you. It can be a little awkward at first personally I found myself thinking “Hey their Bishop looks nothing like the Bishop from the old show” or “So wait Charles Xavier’s body was left undisturbed for 20 years and no one thought to look in the ruins of his old mansion?” but the series really grew on me after a couple of hours for several reasons 1. The attempt to portray Magneto in a more sympathetic light 2. How they handled Gambit thank you not everyone has to be a spotless goody goody all the time 3. The fact that they took the time to develop different Xmen for the parts of the show in the future everyone was not just a future version of themselves 4. No Jubilee and I wish a stronger supporting argument here but I don’t It was an excellent fun series or course it was formulaic but if that bothered me I wouldn’t be an Xmen fan in the first place and I wish there had been more of it.

A lot of fun
This series, short lived as it was, takes ques from other animated series like the original X-men animated series and Exosquad, in that continuity and continuing story lines run rampart throughout these 26 episodes. The series takes liberties with the movies and the long history of the comics and meshes them together into a new world of familiar characters. I liked them all, with the exception of Toad, whom they either could have either made more competent, or less annoying, because entirely incompetent and entirely annoying just do not work. Cyclops pretty much goes without saying as being an annoying character just about all the time as well, but it seems to be inherent in his character no matter who writes him or portrays him. There are 9 episodes on the first and second disc, and the remaining 8 episodes on a third. This is great, as there aren't compression issues that bog down the animation. The voice talents range from good to great (with the exception of Toad), and there isn't an episode here that I would skip over on a second viewing. The limitations of this being a kid's show make most of the fights confounding (just stab them already, Wolverine!), but even so, they manage to make them fun in their own way. This is a show meant for kids, but even as an adult I enjoy it. This is great value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some animated goodness that isn't anime.

Wolverine und die X-Men, was will man mehr?
Immerhin erhält man über 8 Stunden X-Men pur! In diesem Sinne "Snikt!"
