Works very well.
I bought the typewriter to write a book. Copilot kept changing what I wrote without permission. After turning it off and it turning itself back on a few times along with word wanting to save everything to the "cloud" I went old school. I am older and took typewriting in High school. The machine works as it is supposed to. I did have to adjust the keystroke pressure and a few other settings. The little operational manual had very good directions on how to make the adjustments. Overall I am very pleased with the machine. I like the color too.

I’m in love
I’ve wanted a new typewriter since I left mine when I moved out of my parents house 20yrs ago. How hilarious is that!?? I bought this one because of the royal brand and I love it. It’s seriously beautiful. I’m definitely an aficionado with zine nostalgia but I think this would be so amazing for any burgeoning typist. I love it!

Nice Typewriter, But Carry Case Is Missing
I gave this typewriter 5 stars because it works nicely. Some parts are plastic, while others are metal. It functions like it should. I couldn’t get the black to type until I figured out the ribbon was upside down. Took the ribbon off, turned it over so the red was on the bottom and voila! It types nicely. It has a nice classic look to it. My only disappointment is that the case the listing said would come with it is missing. Otherwise I am satisfied. It’s a hefty typewriter, solid and sturdy, and it was well packed. Worth the money.

A beautiful, functional machine
The red typewriter is beautiful and types very well too. The look and feel and weight are great! Delivery is also very fast.
