Excellent and was accurate. Great value for the money and definitely worth every penny. Easy to use and easy to read.

Packaged very well and all pieces were present and intact. I tested it on my Tanqueray gin, and it was accurate, so I was able to confidently process my “dual extraction” lion’s mane mushroom tincture to the minimum 25% ABV. One note, though, that the instruction sheet was produced for a hydrometer that reads differently (from the meniscus at the bottom, which would be fine if the tube had the increments marked on it). Instead, you just look at the fluid level where the hydrometer stops bobbing, and take that reading, either ABV or proof (both are displayed on the insert in the hydrometer. Also note that your liquid should be at a 60-degree temp for an accurate reading, but there’s a good little chart included with instructions that shows temperature adjustments, which is helpful (if not confusing).

Husband is in love with ! He bought one a couple years ago and it recently fell and broke so we had to order another and decided to get a spare in case the cats knocked it over again . Glad we did. The price was great and worth purchasing 2 of them ! This is very easy to use , read and clean ! This is ideal for anyone who makes liquor/ beer etc ! And if your just experimenting and learning this is the one to try out with !

My alcohol hydrometer came broken so I was super bummed. Guess that I will drink my diy wine anyway but I was curious what the alcohol content was
