TL;DR As long as you keep your expectations in check, these little guys are a great deal for anyone looking to get a decent dual wireless lav system for light use but don’t necessarily have the budget to get into the move expensive brands. I was more than a bit skeptical at first when I started to see the G1A2 review and ads starting to pop-up around social media for a 150 USD dual audio system but after watching a few honest reviews and seeing their relative affordability, I decided to go ahead anyway and test this set out for myself. Now if you’re coming at this from a more professional background like I am, don’t expect perfection here, especially for this price point. I’ll start off with some “negatives” just to put the G1A2 in perspective compared to something like the more popular Rode Wireless Go or Entry Level Senheiser wireless lav offerings that I know these will be compared to, which is a bit unfair since they are easily double and triple the price of this Synco system and are about the same sound quality. This system has a relatively high noise floor for both the built in mic and aux inputs, which means you will get some noticeable background static if you don’t balance them properly. When you first use the packs, it’ll take some getting used to to get the best audio out of them. You will have to fiddle around with the levels of the receiver and either your camera or pre-amp you are recording into, not the most convenient thing in the world, but completely manageable and excepted from budget audio. Transmission range isn’t top of the line, build quality is all plastic, there’s no screen on these packs either so you have to use the audio levels on your camera or pre-amp to monitor, and you only get a click button interface with just a few preset audio levels to click through (the transmitter levels are independent but only have one click button each so you will have to cycle through your levels if you mess up). Getting used to that after using premium brand audio with forms of fine adjustments and build in level monitoring (like the senhesier G1 system I use for work) is definitely a challenge at first. Will you get slightly better audio quality and faster set up times from established brands? Sure, but again, for double the price, and for a different market. I wouldn’t necessarily use/recommend these for mission critical audio on higher end production, but for casual videography or vlogging (which is the target market for these guys) or someone looking for their first lavalier set, I think Synco is one of the best budget options out there and it’s why I picked them up and personal use the G1A2. Having the ability have a complete dual wireless audio system that can fit in a pant pocket is a god sent for someone like me who is used to big and bulky production audio equipment, especially when using smaller mirrorless cameras like my Fuji’s. The form factor just can’t be beat and it’s so easily either clip on a talents lapel or hid on a body, and you can fit these in any camera bag or just keep on your camera rig at all times. The transmitters and receivers are well thought out pieces of kit (just very minimal with buttons and a few small lights) the bodies are made of plastic but are sturdy and are pretty darn rugged, they have built in clips that double as hotshoe mounts (like the Rode Go), internal batteries that last a few good hours (maybe around 4 hours in real world use cases), usb-c charging, BUILT-IN MICS which is amazing for the price and are pretty decent quality, clip in body wind screens, two decent wired lavaliere mics, and the entire package comes in a pretty premium feeling semi-hard case. Audio quality is definitely on par with most of the competitions at its price point and above, compared to Comica, Rode, and Senhieser packs I find it really hard to tell the difference, the high noise floor is a bit of a bummer but is easy to work around and external inputs can sound very clean, the built in mics sound pretty good as well but I would definitely recommend using the wind screens to prevent clothing noise. all and all, it does exactly what it needs to do. The transmission range is not too terribly long but works well within a reasonable line of sight, and I get no noticeable drops even when clipping the transmitters to a back pocket and backing up past 10 or so feet. Factoring in price, build, features, and sound quality, it’s really hard to beat the Synco anywhere near the price of the G1A2. Buy it, try it, use it and find out that the G1A2 is a decent bit of kit that can record two separate audio inputs at a time wirelessly, exactly what you would use it for. It’s a great entry level or back up system I find myself using more my main systems because it’s so easy and convenient to use.

I shoot and edit videos for my company's YouTube channel and this kit works perfectly for what we do. Most of our videos are interview/talking head style where run a shotgun straight into camera, but we recently bstarted doing more walk and talk/vlog style videos. These are a great solution for those spontaneous moments when you need to just pick up and go. The value of this kit is fantastic. You get two transmitterers with mics built in, a receiver that fits solidly in your camera's hot shoe, a couple lav mics and all the cables you'll ever need to plug these into your devices. I do wish there was some kind of tiny lcd screen to monitor levels but at this price point I'm willing to live without it. I'll keep my fingers crossed that Synco adds this in their next generation. Sound quality of the built in mics is fine, they work in a pinch. But I do recommend using these with lav mics both for better sound quality and because the receiver itself is just big enough to look out of place clipped onto a shirt. I can't comment on the range because I really only use this kit within 15 feet of the subject. I've never had any sound drops using these, they've been very reliable for me. Pairing is also super easy, love that you just turn these on and they're ready to go! Overall, fantastic kit for the price. A great value pickup for me. I highly recommend this kit if you're looking for an easy to use, minimal system that doesn't get in the way of your content creation.

Overall, this is a great system for most anyone needing 1 or 2 wireless mics for event videography, vlogging, or other applications where wired mics aren't practical. The build quality is very good, with the enclosures having a durable rubberized coating and belt-clips. The receiver's belt clip also doubles as a hot-shoe mount for your camera. Audio quality is quite respectable, and gain is adjustable in several increments. A low-cut filter can be selected if needed. Zero latency monitoring via the receiver's headphone jack is also a plus. The system also includes 2 lapel/lav mics with tie/lapel clips, and 2 foam windscreens, plus 2 furry wind filters. Range is stated to be up to 168 feet although I've not yet tested that. I can say that 90 feet (or more) is realistic in most any situation. The various control buttons are laid out nicely and are easy to learn. The units will pair automatically when powered up, and if not, there's manual pairing as well. The internal batteries are good for 5 hours or more and fast-charging both transmitters and the receiver simultaneously is a simple process thanks to the included USB charge cable with 3 output plugs. So at this price point, the SYNCO system seems to be a worthy competitor to the higher priced Rode system. All of that being said, what's not to like? Well, there are a few cons which for many users probably wouldn't be a deal breaker. 1) Keep in mind that because the system uses internal Li-ion batteries, it's not possible to get a depleted unit immediately up and running with a physical battery swap. However, you can fast-charge the system to 50% power in about 40 minutes. 2) Also, there's no audio level display/meter, so you'll need to check the meter on your camera (or mixer) to make sure you're receiving audio, and that the levels are right. Of course that should be standard procedure regardless. 3) Lastly, the included furry windscreens are effective in reducing wind noise if you're using the integrated mic, but they use a snap-in mount that can be accidentally dislodged by your subject (the person wearing the transmitter) if they're not mindful of that. I've never contacted the manufacturer, but I've heard they offer email support as needed. So overall, the SYNCO system seems like a great value!

First off, I am quite sure I received a returned package. As soon as I opened the case, some items fell out. I didn't think much of it at first until I saw that there was a black package completely ripped open with nothing inside. I saw the mic mufflers just rolling around the case freely. So that was the first big hint it came open. Second is that the mic clips come in transparent pouches. One clip was in a transparent pouch, the other was already on a microphone. The microphone with the clip wasn't tied down likethe other microphone was. Seems someone had already tested the microphone and used a clip to do so. Left the clip on when returned. So I decided to ignore all this and still give it a try to see if it works properly. It does work. So regarding the audio quality. The audio quality is ok. It does what it is intended to do. Heads up, When listening to the audio through headphones, directly connected to the receiver, you will hear a lot of static. Once you record and upload the video to the computer the sound quality will be better than what you hear directly through the transmitter. When I listened to the audio live through the transmitter, I was one second away from returning them. Then I uploaded the video and heard the audio through my computer and saw a big difference. I was able to walk about 10 feet away from the receiver, facing away, before the audio started cracking up. I was able to walk about 15 to 20 feet away, facing the receiver, and the audio was good. It still picks up a lot of surrounding sound. All in all, I got it on sale, cheapest I saw anywhere. It was pre used and sound quality isn't great. I still decided to keep it since I need it now and I cannot afford to buy a more expensive one. I'll try to work with a free audio editing program to tweak the static in the sound.

This is an AWESOME set-up. I use the kit for basically three applications. First and foremost I use it for all my audio and video whiskey podcasts done in my bar/studio. It works flawlessly with my audio and video equipment. I use a Lumix GH5 and GX85 for my video incorporated into an ATEM Mini-Pro video interface and a Zoom H6 Audio interface. It’s great not having to worry about wires and connections…just have the receiver on either the camera or directly into the audio interface and the lavalier mic plugged into the transmitting unit. It gives me perfect audio! Secondly, I do live Zoom whiskey tastings and classes, and once again using the same audio and video equipment no issues at all. For this application I plug the receiver directly into my ATEM Mini-Pro video switcher and the lav mic on me. Once connected to Zoom, it recognizes the Synco unit via the ATEM Mini-Pro and again, no issues, just perfect audio. Finally, I’ve been using the kit on all my location filming, presentations and live casts. Having the two transmitters into a single receiver makes it a snap to wire up me and my guest and have the audio go directly into my GH5 or into my Zoom H6 depending on what I’m doing. Again, no wires, just perfect audio on all my applications. I was originally looking at a similar RODE set-up but at ½ the price, your Synco G1A2 was a no-brainier logical selection. The RODE is a fine unit and I’ve used it in the past, but for me, the Synco G1A2 has equal performance with a much better price point. I’ve been recommending Synco to a number of people and I’m getting positive feedback from them as well.

This is honestly such a great mic, I got this because the Rode Wireless Go could only receive 1 transmitter on one receiver. The Synco Wireless G1(A2) System includes 2 transmitters that can connect to a receiver, this is incredibly useful when it comes to shooting dialogue scenes between actors and subjects. The Wireless transmission is also convenient as it can reach ranges between 50m-70m upon testing, which is comparable to the Rode Wireless Go's 70m range. Because these things are so light weight and wireless, it is really awesome to have them hidden in peoples clothes or objects, even having it attached to a shotgun mic and having a wireless boom pole is extremely convenient I also love that this includes Lav mics for each transmitter, where you would have to purchase those separately with the rode system. The included mic to phone/camera cable is also appreciated as they are tagged with labels for which one is which. The Carrying case is extremely sturdy and everything fits into place perfectly, the system itself is coated in a rubbery matte texture that makes them feel very premium. For the price, I believe that these are a way better value than the Rode Wireless Go and I really enjoy using these.

Love the price, but these are terrible. They keep cutting out, they aren’t reliable and there is no way I would trust these on any production set/job. I literally have people sitting 5 feet from the camera and they still suffer. Just a horrible experience & I wish I could get my money back. Don’t buy.

(Test video included) I have been looking for a wireless lav mic system for a while now. The problem has been simple: they are expensive... and usually, they come with only one transmitter. If you want two transmitters, be ready to double the already high price. But not with this Synco system. For around $150 you get the full system: two transmitters to one receiver. I had been eyeing them on Facebook since they were announced a couple of months ago and had to jump in and get one once they were available on Amazon. The packaging and case are all nice and sturdy. Great quality! They pack small but play big. And all the accessories fit in the case too. It comes with everything you need, including the mics. They also have a clip to easily attach it to your clothes (the receivers). They pair instantly. All three parts charge via USB-C and Synco have included a three-way cable to charge them all at once. It just couldn't get easier. One of their advertising points was "ease of use" and it's something I haven't seen in other reviews as much... So I asked my sister to try them out, without any assistance from me (she's speaking Spanish during the video). As you can see in the video, she just plugged it into a camera and started recording. The audio in the camera is set to automatic metering, so you get a little bit of noise and some peaking. And you can see her moving away from the camera and even speaking through walls and the audio barely gets clipped when she's the farthest away. I really don't think you can go wrong with this wireless lav mic: great set, great sound, ease of use, portability, compatible with multiple devices... and one of the best selling points: excellent customer service. For me, this is a top priority: no matter how good a product might be, if a company offers bad customer service, I don't want it. And the people at Synco have made me feel at home the couple of times I have been in contact with them for questions and assistance. All in all, I think they are a great buy!

Product is not worth for the amount you spend. For 13+k, you should get better build quality

SYNCO G1 comes with two transmitters and one receiver. It is nicely designed product comes with a handy black zip pouch. Best thing is it contains all the required wires in that box be it awesome 3 Type C charger to charge two transmitter and receiver using one USB input which is so thoughtful and also connecting cables to phone or camera. I use MIC many times with phone as well so it so good that you don't have to buy any single wire from outside and everything is included in the package. Regarding the Mic the sound quality recorded is very nice and clear. I forgot it includes the deadcat to be attached with mic so it makes it convenient to shoot outdoor in wind as well. Reception is good as well and also the connectivity is strong between the receiver and trigger. User manual is also compact and to the point anyone can use this product by looking into it and able to figure out themselves. overall very happy with the product and highly recommend SYNCO wireless mic.

I just received these and tested it on my GoPro Hero5 Black and GoPro Hero5 Sessions. Intitially I was getting a lot of 'hissing/static' noise. I went into my GoPro settings and noticed they were set for 'standard' mic. I switched to powered mic and noise went away. I tried changing the setting to Powered Mic+, but that was too much...picked up background noise. Sound quality is very good when paired with my GoPros...it should improve the sound quality on my YouTube videos. I need to figure out mounting setup for my on the water videos, but I have until Spring to figure that out now. I would probably lean more towards a 4.5 star rating, because they don't have any type of display, but for the price, they are still a great unit.
