Has anyone used this to line kaowool in a furnace?

I lined a propane forge with this. I used kao wool under it. It works well

can this product be used to adhere ceramic wool to a metal stove?

I used it as a coating over ceramic wool insulation in my propane forge to protect the insulation.

I have one cracked fire brick in my jotel stove. since i don't see the exact size of my bricks on sale here, can i just fill crack? or just leave it?

We'll, several things to consider, not just a simple yes or no. First, where is the crack? One on the back wall at the top is more serious than one at say, lower on the side. Secondly, is the brick cracked, or is a piece actually broken off (but still held in place next to it? You're using the mortar to fill a pathway the heat is using to get past. Therefore, as long as the brick isn't in danger of falling out, I'd try to carefully pack as much mortar as possible into the crack. Monitor it closely for the first few fires; try not to let coals get right up against it. Remember, a crack is really no different than a joint if the bricks are still held tightly in place.

I would like to use this to cement a kaowool fiber to a raku kiln made of extruded metal sheeting. Will this hold this fiber to the extruded metal?

Hello: No, you need to tick it down some how while it,s stll wet. Place wires in it to tie the Fiber wool to your kiln
