-This large original acrylic painting on canvas of Venus and Adonis was inspired by a painting by Renaissance artist Ricci Sebastiano originally painted at the Palazzo Pitti in Florence, Italy. My hand painted interpretation of this Baroque Fresco masterpiece comes complete with trompe l'oeil cracks and is painted on distressed plaster for added authenticity. The trompe l'oeil stone on the outside of the painting adds a sophisticated "frame" to the piece. SIZE: 39" wide by 66" high and comes stretched and wrapped on wooden stretcher bars, ready to be framed or hung. -The extra large size makes it a dramatic and elegant piece for a large feature wall in your home.
