The cable is braided and durable, and the mic control is also fairly sizeable. I bought it mistakenly thinking it was a PS4 bluetooth-compatible wireless headset with wired capabilities, but it was actually a 'model ps-4' or something to that effect. Despite my initial disappointment, it's performed rather flawlessly so far. I can't speak for its longevity yet as I've only had it for ~2 weeks, but the audio quality isn't all too bad, I wouldn't say it beats my skullcandy wireless earbuds, but it's better by a mile than the wired headsets you can get at Walmart for 12 bucks. Not only that, it's actually really comfortable too. The sound canceling isn't amazing, but it's pretty darn good. With audio playing, it'll drown out most conversations held by the rather loud inhabitants of my household. It has stereo audio which was a must for FPS games for me, a flip-down mic on the left side with good quality, and it comes with an adapter that splits the Aux into left and right for computers and such. The cable itself has to be a good 2-3 feet long, to the point that it's almost tedious. All in all, having paid ~20 USD for it, it's well worth the cost. Most electronics that come this cheap tend to burn out fast, but here's to hoping that's not the case.
