I purchased the Tenda TEG1105P for a small office network, and so far, it’s been a reliable and efficient choice. The four PoE ports are perfect for powering my IP cameras and a couple of wireless access points without needing separate power supplies, which really helps keep things tidy. The total PoE budget of 58W is more than enough for my needs. Setting it up was a breeze—truly plug and play with no complicated configuration required. The one-key VLAN feature is a useful addition for segmenting network traffic, especially if you want to boost security for connected devices. Another big plus is the 6KV lightning protection, which gives me peace of mind living in central Florida. Overall, for the price and the features offered, this PoE switch is an excellent value and works well for anyone needing a simple and effective solution for their network.

Has been running for a year and a half with no issues

This is a very good switch, to use around the house in different places, to extend my wired network to devices that are far away from my networking closet. They are easy to set up, since they’re not managed, and it seems well built. Speed is as described, so I am happy with that as well. Obviously, as to durability, only time will tell, since I’ve only had it for a few months. But so far, it seems like a very good small switch for the price.

This switch was the best priced switch with 4 POE ports and 1Gb. It so far has been working fine after 24h. It's very small and lightweight and has typical indicator lights for connectivity and traffic above each port. The wall mount holes are relatively small so it didn't fit the screws from the old switch it is replacing, and it didn't include any mounting screws. For the money it's a good switch with a 3-year warranty. UPDATE: It's been a few weeks now and it's still working flawlessly. I have (2) 48v 4K cameras and (1) 48v WiFi Access Point connected to three of the PoE ports.

This switch will transfer the video data from the camera, and it will power the camera with just a single Ethernet cable, and it's Plug and Play. I would recommend it for a small business office, or for extending a surveillance network to a location without electric outlets. It is a good switch for connecting a wired IP camera powered via PoE, and another devices that consume low power, like an Access Point repeater. One fact that we need to keep in mind is that this switch supports a total voltage of 58 Watts maximum power, and up to 30 Watts per port on each of the four (4) PoE ports, hence it won’t power four IP cameras that requires a voltage of 48 Watts each. If it supports PoE power up to 58 Watts for all PoE ports, connecting devices that requires more power could work, but then the interruption in data transmission will also ensure. I also like the sturdy metal case, and the ventilation slots on both sides of the small form factor of the TEF1105P. And it has a built-in button that switches between Standard, which is basically the common Poe Switch functions, and the Extend mode, which allows for up to 250 meters (820 feet) of PoE distance. There are holes in the back of the case for wall mounting.

This thing works stupid fast and is easy to set up and get going.

Ce petit switch Tenda fait super bien le taf ! Compact, silencieux et solide, il alimente sans souci mes caméras PoE. L’installation est ultra simple — on branche et tout fonctionne direct, sans aucune config. Le boîtier métal inspire confiance et reste bien au frais, même en charge. Les 4 ports PoE offrent assez de puissance (jusqu’à 58 W au total), parfait pour mes caméras IP PoE. Et si besoin, le mode “Extend” permet d’aller jusqu’à 250 m de câble, pratique pour les installations un peu éloignées. Fiable, compact et efficace — idéal pour une petite installation de vidéosurveillance à bas prix !

Muy buen producto, excelente calidad

Ich habe mir diesen switch gekauft um eine Kamera im Garten der Eingangstür anszuschließen. Funktioniert soweit ganz gut über POE. Das Gehäuse ist recht stabil und macht einen relativ wertigen Eindruck. Spaßeshalber habe ich mal ein Paar daten hin und her geschoben, auch das lief wie versprochen. In der Praxis werde ich das Gerät jedoch nur für die Kamera verwenden. Wer also ein kleines Netzwerk oder eine Kamera aufstellen möchte, ist denk ich recht gut mit diesem switch beraten.
