Great for the XJ
Great little set of shocks for the old XJ. Rides better and didn’t brake the bank.

Great value for the price point.
They feel a little stiff but then again that could be due to the new ARB coil springs I just put in as well. They’re solid and definitely seem to be well built for the price point. My favorite color combination too lol.

Better than what I expected from this brand.
These worked better than I expected. I needed a cheap shock while I was figuring out my next config change. I have a 4 inch lift on my XJ with Rusty's springs and I had an OME shock finally fail on me, so I needed a replacement. I was considering going with a 6" long arm upgrade, so it wouldn't make sense to go all out just to replace them later. The OMEs are great; but the Jeep swayed a little too with the wind on the highway. These are a little stiffer and I don't float as well as my OMEs; but they got rid of the sway. They're not terrible if you run lower tire pressures (I run about 10 PSI on MT 33's)

Good price but the rear was difficult to install
I purchased this kit for my 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ and products were installed by a certified mechanic. These shocks replaced Rough Country N2.0 shocks that were very tired. The product appears to be quality and I haven’t actually test driven the vehicle fully yet to give a review on the ride. Assembly, however, is a different story. The front shocks fit great and bolted right up! The rear did not. The top bolt tabs were out of specification and too narrow for the bolts. The mechanic had to modify the tabs to widen them slightly and allow the bolt to slide into place as intended. This added hours of labor to troubleshoot and address.

Great shock for the money, just need slightly more quality control. One of the bar pins was for a different vehicle so had to be modified.
