Review: Most comfortable and easy on "high top" boot - Great boots. Actually this is the third pair of high top Keen (10 inch) boots that i have bought in the last six months. My wife thinks I'm a boot junky, and I guess I probably am. My life style gravitates toward back country enjoyments and I am always on the lookout for the most up scale, high tech boots on the market. This dates back to the '70s when I did a lot of really rugged sheep hunting here in Alaska. Seems like every few years or so I would fall for the latest and greatest boots, and were often satisfied, but often disappointed as well. But these Keen boots are really great. The first Keen boots that I bought were the Summit County Boot and they stayed in their box for two months as i just wasn't ready to break in a new set of boots. But when I did, I had to say "wow." My requirements generally look for comfort, ease of putting on and lacing up, and a stiff enough platform for sidehilling and standing up to sharp rocks. These boots are very comfortable, easy to get into, and they cling snugly to my feet without heal slippage. While I haven't done much sidehilling with them yet, I have put a lot of miles on them in rugged country. I liked them so much that I immediately ordered a pair of Keen Coburg Steel toed waterproof work boots. I bought these boots because I do a lot of tree felling and bucking in dense forest for fire wood harvesting. While I don't have as much time in these boots yet, they seem every bit as comfortable and functional the Keen Summit boots. So, now that winter has arrived, I just had to spring for the KEEN Revel IV High Polar Boot as well -- and they do not disappoint. Temperatures here in the Wrangell Mountains can easily drop to minus 30F and these boots keep me quite warm so long as I stay active to keep the circulation up. The boots are easy on and off and the high tops keep the snow out. The tread seems good on ice. The waterproofing is good, but I did treat the boots with snowseal, Overall, I am very happy with these boots and will probably cycle into some future version of these Keen brand boots when these finally wear out. Great boots. Can't say enough good things about them. Review: If the shoe fits, definitely wear these - First new set of hiking boots I’ve bought in over ten years and these are wonderful. Fit and waterproofing have been well tested and are amazing. I have a wider foot to begin with so it takes a minute for me to find something that really fits my foot but these boots fit like a glove for me minute one and have not disappointed or degraded in comfort since my purchase prior to a 2 week backpacking excursion earlier this summer and on into hunting season this past fall. Both my sons also found the fit to work well for them also with only one of them needing any additional support insoles to help. The fit me perfectly out of the box and I expect to get year worth of use out of them at this point. Great traction for the woods that allowed me to ford slippery creeks here and there and still have decent footing was a blessing.

Most comfortable and easy on "high top" boot
Great boots. If the shoe fits, definitely wear these
First new set of hiking boots I’ve bought in over ten years and these are wonderful. Fit and waterproofing have been well tested and are amazing. Great for walking in snow at -2°F
First of all, the Revel 4 High Polar boots have 400G insulation, not 200G like the description says. Those are what I bought and the product I received says 400G. I just got back from a 3 day trip to Blue Mountain, Canada where it was snowing heavily and temps were -2°F. My activity level was walking around in the snow all day with my family at the ski resort. For socks, I had one pair of wool blue Fits and that was it. Also, I did use my custom orthotics instead of the fancy insulated ones it came with, so I cannot say if the fancy inserts would have altered my experience. Not one time while walking around did I notice my feet being cold. I stepped in one or two feet deep of snow several times. They even accumulated some snow on top while standing in line for the mountain coaster for over an hour. I did walk in place a bit to keep my blood flowing on the cold concrete. The boots far exceeded my expectations. They kept my feet dry and warm. The only time I noticed my toes feeling a little chilly was while sitting. Maybe that is due to lack of blood flow in that position. So, I probably wouldn't recommend these boots for sitting in a tree stand or ice fishing for hours. If you are going to be on your feet, you should be very happy.

Late arrivals
The boots arrived late so I have not really had a chance to use them yet. When tried on they did feel comfortable and I like the way they lace up. I may not get a chance until next year to use them but we’ll see. They also seem like the will be warm while out in the snow.

Great Boots!
Well made; comfortable; warm and waterproof. Perfect for MN winters with excellent soles for traction. I bought a pair for myself (women’s) last winter and because they have been so helpful walking outside I ordered a pair for my husband. He has also had a good experience.

Falling apart after wearing 3 times
Very disappointed with the craftsmanship of these "quality" boots. Would really like to speak to the seller but can't find an option to do so. I have only warn these boots 3 times, and the seem stitchings are already coming apart.

COMFY AND DURABLE
ABSOLUTELY THE WARMEST BOOTS IVE OWNED. VERY HEAVY TO GET USED TO, MY CALVES BURNED FOR A WEEK OR SO.

Warm and toasty & great traction!
Warm, excellent tread for traction, looks nice and as a fan of all footwear Keen You can’t go wrong with this boot as I am sure it will stand the test of time. Great in even icy cold weather (-30’s C). Fits perfectly to size, so if you’re a half size don’t have to size up and it will fit. Highly recommend!
