AMAZING SKATES IN BUDGET
These are one of the best skates there is out there in budget. perfect for beginners. they are suede material. have a nice heavy and sturdy feel to them. trucks, plates and kingpins are all metal. good for someone who is around 200lbs. I bought Chicago skates before going for roller derby driftR skates. Chicago skates were decent and had a lot of good reviews about them, but these roller derby skates are just many steps ahead. Also in a long run, these roller derby skates will last longer. I have attached a picture of Chicago skates and roller derby skates in each foot for comparison. with roller derby skates first thing you would want to do is loosen the trucks because it will become less stiff and help you turn. they came stocked with Bevo racing bearings which are ABEC 5. So, if you're not planning on skating at a high speed, they are plenty smooth and decent. However, these skates must be assembled by hammer machines or something because bearings were stuck on the axel. I had to use a gentle nudge of a mallet to break them free. luckily, I didn't have any permanent damage on them, or that is what I think. I also changed the wheels from Kemistry to Sure grip boardwalk. It is my personal preference, and you might like the stock Kemistry wheels better, but for free outdoor skating, I am not a huge fan of Kemistry wheels. You also need to give these suede boots a little time to adjust according to your feet. average recommended time is about 10 hours of skating. These boots also come with padded tongue and back which does have a nice comfortable feel to it. I would highly recommend these.

Best skates I've owned yet butt read below*
Such good skates..like really great. I'm so happy with them. First things first** sizing- These are in women's sizes. I normally wear mostly an 81/2 depending on the shoe and I got a 9 and there was a little bit of room. I like to buy my skates with a pinch of room so I can put gel inserts in them. It makes the skate much more comfy to skate in. I have a medium width foot and there is no squeezing or rubbing against my toes. So if you have a slightly wider foot I would say these skates would be good for you. I will say you should buy a skate tool to have on hand when these arive, as my trucks were extremely loose when I got these. I never could have skated in them if I didn't have the tool to tighten them up. I got the suede black ones and they are a gorgeous deep black and because of the color they aren't going to show as much wear and tear as the colorful lighter colored ones will. The wheels are 82a which is considered a hybrid wheel, meaning you can in and outdoors with these wheels. But as a skater who has experience I would advise you to buy a harder set of wheels if you plan to skate mostly in a rink. These wheels being very soft will not allow you to pick up speed very well as they are soft and grippy. These wheels are more meant for outside. I do love how these wheels spin. They spin fast and keep you at your speed for quite some time. I am so in love with these skates and I skate at a minimum 4 days a week. They feel really good to skate in. Definitely buy them if your in the market for some new skates that perform well without breaking the bank. Edit*** After not even 30 days the heel is separated from the boot. If your a skater you know that's the end of the skates. There's no way to reliably fix this. Most common reason skates become unusable. But not even 30 days???? The quality is absolutely horrible. I would not purchase because they will be junk very shortly after purchase. It's sad because these skates were my fave so far. But if they don't last what's the point?

A Bang For Your Buck!
Let me start off by saying that I love the look of the skates! I love all black. The skates are well worth the price. In fact, it exceeds the price! Now don't go raising the price now. ๐ With that being said, I would like to state that I've worn and actually skated in these skates twice. It was for about 30 - 45 minutes on a Greenway Trail. Today, I walked past the skates and thought I saw a speck of lent on the top of one of the boots. Up where it sits on the leg. Where the top/last lace is. I hope that's a good description. Anyway, when I went to remove the lent, it wasn't lent at all. It was opened. A very tiny rip. Like maybe the stitching or glue came apart. For me, it's no big deal. It's very tiny. REALLY TINY. My only issue with the skates are that they're very heavy. So heavy that I can barely lift my foot to move. I thought I would dance skate/jam in these, but they're way too heavy. I've adjusted the bearings, trucks, etc. I was thinking about buying new bearings and cushions, and later add some wheels, if needed. But, I really don't think anything can help alleviate the weight. In my mind, I think the heaviness is a good thing. It shows that there's nothing plastic or any other light weight, short life material. I tell myself that this must be the best plate material to have. Aluminum! Heavy duty! Long lasting! Now, that is what I tell myself, in order to stay happy. Indeed, I'm very pleased with my purchase. But, I really want to dance skate. Outdoor skating! I feel down when I see people moving and grooving like a feather! I say, what kind of skates are that light? I want those. If I buy new bearings and cushions, I hope that'll help with the flow. We'll see. ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ Lastly, these skates are a keeper. I love the style. I love everything about them except the heaviness. The weight of it all. I would recommend these skates. Very good quality at an affordable price. P.S. Pictured is the tiny rip. I also see stitching coming apart on the other side of it (inside).

Great quality for the price!
These skates look exactly as the Photos do. They are really great quality. They are stiff at first so they do need to be broken in as all skates do. They are real leather and will soften and loosen up some to be more comfortable. Definitely use the size chart guide. Measure your largest foot standing up to get the correct size. It definitely works to get the correct size.

I'm very happy with these skates. They came well packaged and in excellent condition! I have wide feet and usually wear a uk 8 or 9, so deceided to get size 9. They felt slightly tight at first, but fit great now! The wheels did not spin much, but are perfect after ajusting with a tool. 10/10

If you are thinking of getting them I definitely recommend but put in mind if you are ordering the Blake skates itโs men sizing so it was big on me also the boot is not as stiff as some people say it is so I say go for it !

I bought a size up as I was not sure whether they would fit overly snug especially as I have wide feet however they do come with extra room as I have to wear 3 pair of thick socks. Love how they feel though . Have changed the wheels and put jam plugs in
