Works perfectly!
This clear acrylic box works perfectly. Originally purchased for my betta, but the other fish had fry, so now it's a nursery (and the betta is enjoying the big tank much better). It arrived with one of the connecting arms broken so the rubber band won't stay put (pictured), but the box stays well put together with all other connection arms intact. It comes with 3 suction cups- I removed the 3rd one for an unobscured view, and it stay to the glass without slidding/detaching, even under the weight of rocks, and plants. It is just under 12 inches long by 6 inches tall, and 6 inches deep. You have to remove the frosted, plastic film from both** sides of every piece before assembling. Originally, I blocked the view of all other fish by simply cutting a white plastic folder divider (pictured), to size and slid it into place within the box. I then placed it over the air stone to provide oxygenated water to the fish, and also positioned it near the filter outflow so the water is constantly being renewed through the tiny holes in the sides. When divided into 3 compartments each one is just under 4 inces by 6 inches tall and 6 inches deep. Overall, I highly recommend this acrylic box. It works great, stays put, and is really spacious for your fishy friends♡

Best breeding box so far
I know there are some caveats to this product but for the price, it's worth it. I've spent more than that on crappy breeding nets with flimsy tank hooks that break if you sneeze and that I've had to jerryrig it back to working condition with twist ties. This product is none of that. It is sturdy and beautiful. And, I can see my babies! Quite frankly, it doesn't need the hooks since the water level usually never gets low enough to use it and the suction cups work great, so I may end up just removing them. I'm not quite sure if you can see the suction cups but it's not those simple ones that lose hold after some time. They are the screw nut suction cups. Since there are 3 and strategically positioned, the box stays put. Yes, you do have to put your hand in the water to adjust the box/suction cups as the water level falls. When I clean my tank, I move it to as low as it can go without my babies swimming out. And then as I put water back in, I move it back up. This is much better than the net breeders where I can't adjust the height at all and have to move my babies out to clean the tank. You might not be able to see it from the picture, but I removed the walls so the automatic feeder feed all the babies when I was away on vacation. Luckily, I didn't have big mommies that would eat their babies so it worked out. One last note, the lid works for keeping large fish in but there's a gap when under water, so if you are keeping babies, the top of the box has to always be above water level. One thing that I do wish it had is that little grill and space for the babies to go through so the mommas don't eat their own before I can fish them out. Not a ding on this box since most other boxes are the same but it would be a great option to have so that once the momma is moved to another compartment to rest, the grill can be removed and the babies have space to swim.

Buy ATPWONZ, get "atpwonz" quality!
Two and a half months since I bought this, used once for a few days. Yesterday was trying to set it up again - the little plastic screws falling apart, breaking, one of the hinges broke where it screws into the main box. Not a bad design, garbage quality and waste of money on my end.

Good functionality, poor design
I had originally planned for it to hang on the short side of my 29 gallon aquarium, but it was just short of being able to fit next to the filter I had, with the holes punched out of my top like so. I feel this is a very generic setup, so if it had just been a few mm skinnier it would have fit. The hooks that go over the lip of the aquarium are oversized, especially since they don't hold the weight of the box - the suction cups do that. Mine only rest on the inner edge. I anticipated needing to crack the lid a little bit, but the amount seems excessive. I understand it is designed for many tank types, but again, since I have a standard tank, it seems like a couple of mm could have been shaved off the top part of the hook, since again, this doesn't even really hold any weight. The dividers don't sit flush to the bottom of the box, so it should not be used to keep fry separate from one another. I used one section to make sure some otocinclus and pygmy corydoras acclimated to the tank so I could keep an eye on them, and since the corys were juvenile, they were close to being able to fit through, but didn't. It would work worry-free for larger fish. Assembly was easy... once the films were off. That is a huge pain and took 45 minutes just for that step between two people, and it was starting to wreck my thumb nail. Using a blow dryer to heat it up didn't help at all. From the description, I got the impression that the box would float depending on the level of the water, but that is not the case. You need to raise it to the actual level of your tank, and it does not move, so I can only take out 7.5 gallons of water for a water change rather than my usual 10, as it would bring the water level too low for any fish in there. I initially put it in too low, so a small fish was able to get into the box through the top feeding holes. It was kind of a pain to raise it up because you have to use a few tiny screws and washers, and retighten the suction cups. Because the suction cups are... suctioned, the box cannot slide back and forth along the tank if you are trying to get a hose around in the tank to suck up poop. Now that it is in, I have to basically stick my whole arm in the water to get to the filter sponge. I do love that it makes it easy to take photos of fish that are in the "naughty box" that need to find new homes. Again, it works great if you are aware of these design flaws, but it seemed so easy for them to be able to take these things into consideration that I had to rate it as such.

Only One Fatal Flaw
I love this box. It was easy to assemble. It is made out of good quality plastic. I can place it on the gravel or hang it from the side of my half-circle tank. I bought this to protect the small new residents in my semi-aggressive tank with Oscars and plecos. I can see them and they are protected. The holes are the right size and allow for regular water flow, so while they grow, they are already acclimated to their home tank conditions. If I wanted to separate specimens I can just slip the dividers in and have up to three separate compartments. Here is the one fatal flaw that is easily addressed. The lid has larger holes. This is likely to facilitate feeding without opening the lid. This is no problem if your protected guys are large enough. If not they will swim through and disappear. It was a purchase of two small dinosaur bichirs that prompted this purchase. I hanged the box with all sides submerged. One day, I noticed an MIA. Sometimes, I am a bit slow, so the next day, I looked and the box was empty. Bichirs of any variety are usually hard to find, but a local PetSmart had some so I could start again and this time with the lid about an inch from the water surface. I do not use the suction cups, but after losing the first two bichirs, I attached them. The holes for them are big enough to let little guys out. The suction cups do not impede or spoil the view. The box is a very functional, attractive accessory. I feel the value will outperform the price point.

It's perfect!
Wow! More than I expected. It's a huge size with 3 components. Easy to install and it's stable. Suction cups are great and hold a very tight grip even though my tank was full. I did not needed to install the hooks. I am truly impressed with this product and highly recommend it.

Using for Betta Display
So far assembly was okay. Looks like it’s made in China but isn’t everything made in China? Like others have said, there could have been better instructions. If you’re a logical thinker, it’s easy to figure it out even with just the pictures provided. That one review that shows expectations vs reality, you can clearly see you didn’t peel off the plastic. Reality is reality, it’s clear. If yours look foggy it’s because you didn’t peel the plastic on both side. Mine came not broken, but I accidentally broke the lid hinge, but a little super glue makes it all good. Using this for a beta tank/display on my 50 gallon tank. Fits perfectly. Will update my review if it breaks. Might buy a second one for a second betta.

Perfect little fish box
This is a great acrylic fish box and I loved it so much I bought two. First off, as others have said, the protective sheet that makes it 'cloudy' is on both sides, peel it off *both sides* and it is crystal clear. The instructions are pretty easy to follow or you can also just look at the picture to figure out how to put it together once you have the pieces all laid out. I love that I can make this one larger container, three small sections, or one medium and one small section depending on if I have both dividers installed or not. The suction cups are strong and work well by themselves, no need thus far for the extra attachment to the side. The one downside to this is that, in my opinion, the holes are very small so there is not much water flow through this box, I've fixed this issue by using some airline tubing and attaching it the outflow on my filter so that some of the water goes to the box instead. This has worked perfectly to provide fresh water into the container and I use a turkey baster to remove any excess food or waste from the container as needed. I currently use this as a temporary grow-out for my baby bristlenose pleco fry after I pull them from the cave after they hatch, it gives them a safe place to grow and eat before I put them into their permanent grow-out tanks and it's working really well thus far.
