Great product
Replacing same brand and model with 201,000 miles on them. You donโt realize how bad the old ones are due to the deception of the gradual. I have a 2 1/2โ lift on my Jeep and these are perfect. Great price. Donโt wait as long as I did to change yours

Bilstein or Bust.
It took me a while and a lot of research to decide which shocks to get for my 2017 Sahara but I knew I wasnโt skimping. Fox shocks are great, but youโre essentially paying big $$$ for the logo. I donโt need the logo, I need dependability and longevity. Bilstein is the way to go. They hold great value, at home installation was a breeze, fitment was on point and this beast drives like a Jeep but rides like a Cadillac!

Canโt go wrong with these bad boys!
After installing my lift I had the metalcloak brand long travel shocks that came with it. They were good shocks but a little soft for all the added accessories I have. The front Metalcloak long travel shocks had about 3 inches more of extended travel than the bilstein front shocks here but I wasnโt too concerned as I didnโt want to pay a ton of money right now for a big name brand long travel shock. The rear are pretty close to the same amount of travel. So I went with the Bilsteins and let me say that they are a little stiffer than what I had before but they ride a lot better on and off road given I have added weight from all my accessories. So far so good with about 1000 miles on them! I will say I wish bilstein would add a nut at the base of the stud on the front shocks so you can hold it with a wrench when installing or removing instead of having to remove everything from the engine bay to access the Allen on the top which is the way itโs supposed to be done but a lot more work. A little trick is to slide down the rubber dust cover and put a pair of vise grips on the the collar the boot sits on and you can hold it from turning that way!!

Perfect fit.
These fit perfectly on my 2012 Jeep JKU Rubicon. I didn't need to do any modification like others have stated in their reviews. I have the shocks matched up with a 3" Teraflex ST3 lift. The Jeep rides great, it feels more connected to the road (if that makes sense) than it did before. You can feel the bumps but it doesn't feel harsh. I haven't had the chance to take them off-road yet. I will be heading to Sand Hollow and Moab soon and will provide an update (if I remember). Some advice on installing the top nut on the fronts. Use two channel locks and pinch down on the provided metal washers above and below the rubber isolators. Then have someone else put on the top nut and thread it on a few turns. You will need to cut away a little plastic to allow room for the channel locks.

Great Shocks / Front Bushings Too Big
Love the feel, look and performance of these shocks. Rear install was easy, but when doing the front it was not a easy job. I'm using them in a 2014 Jeep Wrangler jk, so we know the front shocks can be tricky. The bushings where way to Big and had to end up shaving them down just to fit. The bolt also is way shorter then all other shocks so it's a job to get them screwed in. Let's just say it took way longer then inspected. Rear 30 minutes Front well over a hour. Overall it is a great purchase with small modifications.

Nice shocks
Fit my 07 Jeep Wrangler, extremely hard to install!!! Ride is a little stiff but they work as advertised by Bilstein.

Good shocks
I put these on my JK, they have always been my favorite shock for the money. They ride super smooth and soak up bumps like nothing. The only issue it the front bushings are too thick. I had to utilize my Skyjacker bushings to get them to mount up.
