DHP Kid's Loft Bed Polyester Washable and Removable Curtain Set (Blue and Red)

This castle has been a huge hit with my daughter! She absolutely loves it and has spent hours having fun under it as well as on top of it. It was fairly easy to assemble. It took us about an hour or so. Faster than I expected. I was happy to have another person to help as that made things easier. The bed is pretty sturdy, only small complaint is one of the bars squeaks a little. But for the cost of this bed I think the quality is great!

This is perfect for my 4 year old! He absolutely loves it. My husband assembled it by himself while I made dinner. The curtains are cute. I do want to see buttons or something on the smaller panels, because my son is constantly grabbing the rails and undoing the Velcro. We put a night light with an on and off switch inside the "fire station" so my son really feels like he is in his own secret place. When he goes to bed, the glow from nightlight through the curtains is just right. Very pleased. Believe it will be sturdy enough to pass on to my grandson in a couple of years.

At first, I wasn’t sure about getting a metal frame bed for my 5 year old son but after comparing pricing on different bunk bed styles, I finally gave in and purchased the firehouse bunk bed with red slide. Arrived in a long heavy box and a separate small box for the curtains. Assembly took me some time but I finally put it together myself. Very easy to follow instructions and came out very sturdy. I decided to buy some red pool noodles from a dollar store, cut a slit in it and placed it over the front and side rails to cover the sharp corners to prevent accidents. The pool noodle fits nice and snug and helps hold the fabric covers in place. I purchased a twin mattress and red bed cover for top and bottom, but my son prefers sleeping on top. I ended up putting the firehouse curtain in the back instead of the front. I also like that the bed is low and not high. Overall, great price and great purchase!

I put this together, on my own (I'm a 40 year old, overweight, weak as all get out woman lol) in about 2 hours. The instructions are so easy! It comes with every tool needed. The fabric pieces are well made, and so far, 2 months later, it has held up time and time again. The price, the craftsmanship, the ease of putting together, along with the overall look of the finished product all work together to rank this piece of furniture a 5 star purchase. I also love how easy it is for story time, I stand next to the bed and read and then show him the pictures (very similar to what is done in school). I feel like it has made our time together better. Add in the fact that this has a SLIDE and well, what kid wouldn't love it? I know mine does! Oh, and don't get me started about the abundant storage/play space below! I just love, love, love this bed!

Very hard to set up yourself. Need to loosen and tighten parts to get everything on and the order to the directions could use some editing. Also had issue with them sending the wrong tent, tried to return just the tent which I was told I could do, and now have the right tent and 2 beds(ups is coming back for 1) been quite the hassle to set this up. Its alot lower to the ground then I had imagined I was hoping my 2.5 year old could put a matress on the ground and sleep in the tent till he gets used to the change, but he can nearly stand up never mind sleep under there. And with a standard twin mattr 2sss in top the "all around safty rails" can barely be concidered safe so now I have to buy some more bed rails for it to make it safe, which is had considering the bed is all metal with melat rails so no where to connect the safty rails. Over all somewhat disappointed in the over all experience of buying my sons first bed :( But the bed itself is very sturdy and very hard to put together, need 2 people and hours of effort.
