Creamy and rich, does not taste like it came from m a can
I always like and frequently buy Campbells New England style clam chowder. It is rich and thick and does not have a from-the-can taste. I usually add a can of baby clams, dried onion spice, black pepper, and basil to the pot with the clam chowder. I cook it a while to decrease any extra liquid from the can of baby clams. When it has that nice thick and creamy texture, I serve it in bowls, topped with French bread garlic croutons. It is the perfect meal for 2 with side lettuce salad and a glass of wine. Itโs quick to fix, and not too expensive for a very tasty meal. I prefer Campbells brand to others, since some other brands can be too watery or taste like a can.

I have tried several clam chowders in this price range, and they all seem to be about the same. Flavor is good, a little sparse on clams, but they are in it.

Good filling soup
Good soup, better than Progresso, but in the future I will buy the walmart brand that's just as good. I add 1T flour and 1T butter roux and 1/2 can of Chopped classic and about a 1/4 cup of half and half.

The price was very reasonable
I was very surprised how good this soup tasted, Iโve tried many canned clam chowders and they were just ok I just added a little butter and it was delicious plan on buy more very soon

Love this soup! I t is very thick so I extend it with about 1/4 to 1/3 can milk using the soup can to measure. I add some broccoli florets too. Reminds me of Cape Cod and Cape Ann. Mmm mm Good!
