This is a great tool to add to my home-maintenance arsenal! Our bathroom sinks clog regularly, especially my husband's. Between the hair, soap, shaving cream, and hard water, it gets slow fairly quickly. I often use baking soda and vinegar to clear them and that, surprisingly, does work! But it's a bit of process and requires me to remove the stopper which is a bit awkward. Last time his sink clogged we called in a plumber thinking it needed to be snaked. It didn't; he just used a plunger but it still cost a lot. And I refuse to use the large plunger we use in our toilets in our sinks - uber gross!Saw this online and was a bit skeptical because it looked to be made of plastic, not rubber, like traditional plungers. I figured it would not seal well enough to create good suction. I was wrong - it worked perfectly! The bellows design not only amplifies the suction, but it helps you steer clear of the faucet. On my sink, it took one plunge and it was done! On his, it took a couple of tries to get it fully clear, but it did. And the hard shiny surface means it's easy to rinse clean and it's relatively small size means I can tuck it under the vanity, out of sight. Great purchase at a reasonable price.

Really was skeptical, but this thing is great. Used it immediately after delivery and it worked great. Drain wasn't fully clogged, but very slow to drain, not any more! Never thought I needed this, but I was not about to use the toilet plunger in the kitchen sink. Glad I stumbled across this. Love the size so I can store it under the kitchen sink. Would recommend.

Works fine! I used it on a slow bathroom sink as soon as I received it, a day ahead of promised time, and it quickly sped up drainage. It sucks stuff up from the pipes, so you might want to use a small aquarium net or some strainer to keep that crud from going back into the pipes. The suction works, rather than forcing pressure down the drain.

I had a few sinks that were starting to flow more slowly and I didn't want to put my very gross bathroom plunger on duty. The method I used was to fill the sink about halfway with it stopped so no water could flow down. Then I put the plunger in the sink against the bottom, but slightly tilted to let air escape. Pump it a few times until almost no bubbles come out. Then, in a very quick motion, release the stopper on your sink and slide the plunger over, full of water. Pump vigorously and you should hear water rushing back and forth. Depending on the clog level of your sink, you might feel a sudden drop in resistance. This is your clog, totally destroyed. If that doesn't work entirely, try repeating the procedure.Note: If you have a bathroom sink and/or a kitchen sink with two drains, it is important to block the small drain hole that is used to prevent the sink from overflowing. Some kind of cover (or your finger) should be sufficient to block this opening. If you don't, the plunger will not be as effective.Another note is your sink can have some really, nasty, smelly stuff in the drain, so move anything you care about out of the way because there's a chance it goes shooting around.I give this thing 4 stars because I can't say how durable it will be. The plastic feels kind of cheap, not very thick and very light. However, the price was low and even with my limited skills I was able to do a number of drains around the house. All of the sinks are now draining better, some drastically faster. Very good for the price.This is not a sponsored post or anything, I just like sharing what products worked and didn't work. In practice, however, it's the most powerful, versatile, and portable little plunger you could ever hope to own. Besides providing an astounding amount of suction, it's small enough to use on any drain in your home and, when you're done, you can easily store it away under the sink and just forget about it until you need it again.I purchased this plunger for the bathroom sinks which are constantly getting plugged up and are very difficult to plunge with standard, long-handled plungers due to the curvature around the drain. Usually, we would skip over using one altogether and go straight for taking apart the drain which is a big job and requires a lot of time and effort, especially if you're older and suffer from back and knee problems. Therefore, I decided to try finding a new and improved plunger and came across this item by chance one day on Amazon.I had two partially clogged bathroom sinks to work on today before they got any worse, so I plugged up the overflows with paper towels as someone had recommended for increased suction, filled them both with steaming hot water to soften up the clogs as much as possible, and away it went.What I noticed immediately is that there's a little trick to angling this plunger just right over a bathroom sink drain before it really catches, but once you got it, you'll know it and you'll never forget how to hit that sweet spot again. The suction is incredible and the amount of gunk that comes up is disgusting, but it proves that it's working very well.The result is that both of these drains were completely unplugged in a matter of minutes. I did have to repeat the process a couple of times on both sinks for maximum results, but that was to be expected and it really took almost no time at all or any real effort to get the job completely done. It wasn't even that difficult to clean up the area around the sinks since the suction of this plunger is so well controlled. It produces practically no splashing and no mess.I'm very happy with this purchase and I'm really glad that I found out about these plungers. It's a very simple and inexpensive solution to a very common and frequent problem.

Do not wait to have this economical plumbing tool available to avoid costly repairs and/or inconvenience. I was amazed at the simplicity and effectiveness of this plunger. You will be too!

I bought this little plunger after reading great reviews here after struggling with a badly clogged bathtub drain (visitor with a heavy beard decided to shave in the shower over a week while using lots of shaving foam). I tried my toilet plunger to no effect, then a couple of treatments of drain cleaners, and then a few gallons of boiling water with no real effect - only a very, very slow flow after all of this. This little thing cleared the clog in about 2 minutes, though the only challenge was closing up the overflow drain in the wall of the bathtub in order to get a good seal on the drain (solution was a plastic bag over the drain cover with lots of duct tape). Once I closed the overflow drain, I filled the tub with about 2 inches of warm water and plunged things for 20 seconds, stopped to check to see what the flow was, and then repeated. After doing this 5 or so times, I had an absolutely clear running tub. I then tried this little plunger on bathroom sinks that were slow running (and it was easy to plug the overflow drains - just put a finger in them) and they cleared well (lots of black gunk with first couple of plunges - clear once this crud was removed). Sink drains then flowed very smoothly with about a minute of effort total for each.This a great product at a great price. I'm going to get a second one with the idea I can use one to cover the overflow drain in a tub (no duct tape and a tighter seal) and then plunge the main drain as needed. When not plunging bathtub drains, will leave it in a bathroom on another floor.Great product - Very highly recommended.PS The plunger is pretty small - I don't think it is intended for a toilet.

So I had a plugged up bathroom sink. Drain cleaner was tried but didn't work.No problem, I'm fairly handy...took the trap off, checked it out. It was clear, the stopper mechanism was clear, everything looked good. Put a straightened coathanger wire into the pipe as far as it would reach...nothing found. Put it all back together: nope, still not draining. A couple of days later, I've obtained a longer wire (a piece of electrical fishtape) and I try again, this time reaching all the way to the larger drain pipe inside the wall...still no luck.I'm getting really close to calling a plumber now because the sink has a built-in stopper that raises up to drain and the drain is only about about an inch from the back of the sink, which means that a conventional plunger won't work. In desperation, I start looking for 'alternative' plungers...and I find this one, the MPS4 Master Plunger Shorty. Looks like it will straddle the stopper and fit close enough to the back of the sink, and it's cheap enough (the exact same one in different colors is also listed for more money, so this was the best deal). I buy it.When it arrives I fill the sink 2/3rds full and put a piece of duct tape over the drain holes in my ceramic sink, then start plunging...it clears the clog (which is at least three feet away inside the pipes) IN SECONDS! Could not be happier with this product...it saved me big money.

If you live in a unit or home that doesn't have much cross ventilation, you may find little flying fruit critters. This has been a godsend. I pump the kitchen sink every night after cleaning up after dinner and BINGO - critters are gone.It's easy to hang, just buy a cheap hook that fits your kitchen.

I was skeptical about the product, since it is plastic. Bought it and have been using it for past 2 months and I must say this is an amazing product. I used to have a blocked drain in the shower always and bought a traditional clogger but it was not working the right way and after having this I wish the drain blocked more often. Lol. Not joking, try it! My drain blocks occasionally but giving a go with this one clears the block quick.
