The pattern is everything.
Easy to set up, operate and clean. Lots of water on the glass being cut which can wash away even permanent markers. I use a tape that does NOT wash away. I put the tape on the glass and cut the pattern with an exacto knife. Put water about half way up the sponge in the bottom of the basin to minimize the splashing water. The saw is awesome. Cuts almost any pattern with very little grinding needed to make the pieces fit. So, the pattern is everything! Also saves glass because you can make weird cuts

Workhorse
Saw is a WORKHORSE!!! This saw performs well cutting all types of glass. Be sure to use original Gryphon blades.

This is a smartly designed and very long lasting saw.
This saw is easy to assemble, easy to maintain, and cuts amazingly well. This is the second one I have had and my last one lasted nearly thirty years.

Cheap
Very cheaply made, plastic screw broke trying to adjust, band wore out extremely fast. I believe it was used when I bought it as the bands were already installed and stretched to the point I had to replace after first use. Did not use when first bought so naturally it’s out of the return period. Horrible experience.

Good little machine for hobby stuff and home crafts.
My personal assessment of the bandsaw is that it is ok for the primary market its aimed at., hobbyists and fraggers. The overall design is good with some reservations. The injection moulded parts are to an acceptable tolerance, hope the material is stable, sliding fits will be affected by warpage. Throat area is reasonable, table perforations are handy for location fixture attachments. Tank emptying is easy through support pillar. Fitting lower sponge into place a little fiddly. A worthwhile improvement to cut accuracy would be an adjustable band guide. Overall, not bad. Additional plus,- full marks for shipping packaging, triple ply box!

Not.Worth the money
It's not made as well as I would have.Light does throw back water in large quantities.Not as sturdy as expected overall not the bang for the buck

Product requires a lot of maintenance, but when running properly, does nice work.

A great tool to use for glass cutting.
Using this to cut glass and it is doing exactly what I need it to do. Have actually come up with new ideas to use this that I hadn’t thought I would be able to do.
