This is a unique gift for the person who is impossible to shop for. Reusable and numerous combinations can be created. It doesn't contain whiskey and doesn't make whiskey - the instructions advise to purchase unaged (cheap) whiskey and create something new and palatable.

This was a gift to my in-laws. I thought it was a fun and interactive idea. It comes with many flavors to try. For the price, it would have been nice to include the alcohol in the box. The box itself came dented and squished. I'm sure this was just a shipping issue during the hectic Christmas rush, but since it was a gift and was given in the box it came in it made it look less appealing.

Das Whiskyset zum Selbermachen ist echt eine coole Sache! Man hat das Gefühl, sein eigener kleiner Brennmeister zu sein, wenn man die Zutaten zusammenstellt und reifen lässt. Der Spaßfaktor ist riesig und man lernt dabei einiges über Aromen und Reifung. Klar, es ist kein Single Malt aus Schottland – aber das Ergebnis schmeckt überraschend rund und macht richtig Laune.
