Made in the USA - 5 Lbs. Copper Sulfate Fine Grade Crystals. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT MEET PPPA REQUIREMENTS AND IS INTENDED FOR INDUSTRIAL AND MANUFACTURING USES ONLY AND IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN AREAS WHERE CHILDREN ARE PRESENT. Review: Buy this one! - Use 1 & 1/2 cups in our distribution box every month in summer time, works great, no problems, keeps the biomass in check. Highly recommend, have purchased often. Review: Safe - It immediately solved my green in the pool and is as clear as ever. Tested for metals and all good in a couple days back flushing filter. I used this in a large pond for years so tried it in my pool. Light dose 1 tps per 1000 gallons. Might go lighter nx application but zero issues and safe. Safe a bunch of dollars using this!

exactly what i needed
I recently purchased copper sulfate pentahydrate powder, and it is exactly as advertised! What I Like: The quality of the powder is excellent. It arrived in a secure package and was exactly the right consistency I needed for my projects. The vibrant blue color is a clear indication of its purity, and it dissolves well in water, making it perfect for my applications. How I Use It: I primarily use this copper sulfate for gardening and as a laboratory reagent. It’s effective for controlling algae in my pond and is also great for various chemical experiments. The instructions provided made it easy to use, and I appreciate the detailed information on the packaging. What I Don’t Like: There’s really not much to complain about. If I had to pick something, I wish the packaging was a bit more resealable to keep it fresh after opening, but it’s a minor issue. Any Problems? I haven’t had any issues at all; it’s been consistent in performance every time I use it. What Others Should Know: If you need high-quality copper sulfate pentahydrate, this product is a reliable choice. It performs exactly as advertised, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a dependable source!

Works Well In A Weak Solution to Keep Urostomy Bags Fresh
I use a weak solution of copper sulfate to prevent bacteria from growing in my urostomy bag. Each time I drain the bag, I squirt 5 ml of a weak solution back up into its drain port using a plastic 20ml/cc syringe with a catheter tip. I keep a saturated solution of the copper sulfate in a 1 quart squeeze bottle under the sink in the bathroom. I then dilute it to about 10% using another squeeze bottle with graduations printed on the bottle. From this 2nd squeeze bottle I fill a beaker and draw the 10% solution into the syringe which I can use four times before refilling the syringe. To prepare the saturated solution, I use about a heaping tablespoon of the copper sulfate in a quart of hot water. As I remember from chemistry, when it is saturated you will see some of the copper sulfate at the bottom not dissolved yet. I don't think the dilution % is important. The copper sulfate keeps the urostomy bag odor-free and the weak solution has not irritated my skin. Actually, the construction of the bags that I use makes it doubtful that the solution will contact my skin or stoma. Additionally, the weak solution makes it doubtful that the copper sulfate could cause a problem. That being said, I have not seen an evaluation of what I am doing by a qualified organization. I have been doing this daily for over 14 months with no problems. Copper sulfate will stain clothing and I have used bleach to remove it from white clothes.

Root Control
Used to clear sewer lines from invasive tree roots that roto-rooting does not clear out. Seems to work fine. Put a cup in the toilet farthest from sewer exiting the house, flush and leave all night. 8-10 hours would be nice. Note, this a prevent use,not designed to clear major clogs. Use it about twice a year to keep lines running clear.
