When you first unscrew the top I find the smell fairly nondescript, perhaps just a hint of lemon covering something else, I know not what. But once on the cheeks then the fragrance builds and warms. Again lemon with the hint of pine and something else, perhaps cinnamon, I’m just not sure - and neither is anyone else in my family! Apart from being the best aftershave I’ve had in the past 20 years it’s the only one I’ve had since Jovan in the early 1970’s that actually lasts all day. The Jovan one could get then was a much stronger smell though that finished the day with the same strong odour, this one changes as it warms, gets softer if you like, but is still active at the end of the day. Brilliant. Mind you if the Jovan they served up to-day was remotely like that in the '70's I'd probably still go for that, youth you know :-) Review: I love this scent - I love this scent.
