It doesn’t feel like it’ll fall out and I think the spongy padded feeling protects my phone well from scratches with keys and other things in my bag. I have the speaker at the open end so I can hear alerts. The overwhelming smell of rubber was really strong at first. I washed the case really thoroughly and sprayed with febreeze and it subsided a little. Now after a week, the smell is hardly there at all. The material is waterproof and, when hand washing, I could hold water in it like a cup, with only a few drips coming out of the seams.
