For the price this is a decent stereo. I had to buy an interface for my factory installed JBL amp but this thing sounds and works great. To use CarPlay you have to use a usb cable but I don’t mind. I have bluetooth CarPlay in another vehicle and it screws up constantly and I have to use a cable. Wired it is very stable. Love having Waze up while driving. Also it is installed in a convertible, and with the top down on the interstate I can talk on the phone with no problem. I was very impressed.

Very responsive and sounds great, great features and videos look great and sound awesome. I don’t have the rear view camera hooked up but I may purchase a camera down the road. The only con for me is talking while in Apple play. I hear the same from everyone about this and it is that you won’t have a problem but the caller will hear there echo which will be annoying for them but if you call or get a call make sure you do it in Bluetooth without being hooked in to Apple play and they will not have an echo. I don’t understand and I wish there was settings so you could fix this because sometimes you may want to talk to someone while you are using the gps in Apple play but I couldn’t find that setting to fix it so I will live with it. More expensive head units have settings for the mic but this one does not and I heard it could be fixed if you could update the Apple play but you can’t so before you purchase you may want to think about if this is important to you but besides that this is a very nice budget car stereo and it is still worth the money

The first refurbished unit was missing the mic mount and the head unit lasted 30 minutes before it powered off and failed to turn back on. I verified the connections and fuses and everything was fine. I returned it back to Amazon and got a second refurbished unit. This time all parts are in the box and so far the unit has been working great. Car play auto works great. It does not support wireless car play. The UI is pretty basic. Nothing fancy or anything. Biggest gripe I have the unit is it's not really bright even if it's set to max. You can still see what's on the screen but for me it's not bright enough compared to my last unit. The second one is the volume control. I prefer a knob but that's like a extra $100 feature. The volume rocker is tiny and is on the very edge of my unit. The mounting bracket for my unit sticks out a wee bit where I can only press the rockers sort of at a angle. All and all, for less than $150(refurb) it's a good unit over stock.

I’ve had this head unit for 5 months. I bought it in April. I regret buying this head unit. To put it simply it want to garbage pretty much right after the return window. At first I would just reset on its own and I figured it was an overheating issue. That was untill it started happening more and more and through the night. This lasted me like 5 months of just dealing with how annoying it is. Now I’m about ready to just throw it in the garbage. For like the last 3- months I haven’t been able to use my radio as in fm channels and such at all. And if I tried, my head unit would freeze and I’d have to essentially restart the car to do anything with it. As of today I can’t use the radio. Car play does not work. It freezes. I can’t factory restart the devices because it freezes if I try to do that. It randomly resets itself. And now as of yesterday i can’t change the volume up or down. So basically i can’t even use the head unit anymore pretty much. I regret buying this. Wholeheartedly.

This product is worth every penny. The only problem i had, which im sure is rarely the case, is that I had to take out the screen to peel off the front plastic warning label. This is because the tab to peel it off the warnings was underneath the shell, but that was easy, all it took was a PH0 screwdriver. NOTE: If this happens to you, UNSCREW THE SIDES to take off the front plate, then carefully unscrew the top and push the screen gently from the top. If you unscrew from the top first, the screen might fall back and break [Edit to post] i have seen a few reviews saying that it does not have android auto... some android devices do not have the ability to use android auto. Also android auto only works over a cable, just like the apple car play. Some phones that I know that work are the Samsung Note 9 (and newer), the Samsung A12, and the Samsung Galaxy 9 (and newer)... make sure you look up if your device is compatible and if so, download the android auto app

I got this for my daughter to replace another Boss double din with DVD I bought her a couple of years ago. She wanted the apple car play. This unit is much higher quality than the first one in every way Screen is clear, sound is great and much more responsive. If I had one complaint, it would be it only plays Windows media video files. I wish it played MP4 video. I have to take another step to convert the video and windows media creates a much larger file. Or, if it allowed me to mirror my screen for video would be even better. For the price, it's a great value.

Fonctionne pas tout les 12 v branché mais quand je met le connector dans la radio mon 12 v descant a 3 v, problème interne Finalement le problème était que j’avais un mauvaise mise la masse, donc je me suis fait un nouveaux fil et la radio a fonctionné . Je vous conseille de vous ajouter un bouton pour alimenter le fil orange qui met le radio en mode nuit lorsque que vous allume vos phare avant et l’écran devient sombre, avec le bouton vous contrôler la luminosité jour/nuit . Fonctionne à merveille,aucun problème, téléphone fonctionne très bien , avec mon iPhone aucun problème Vidéo à venir

I decided to upgrade from the old stock radio and this one does fulfill the hands free phone requirement I was after however the Android Auto messaging system doesn't seem to work at all, even though I have version 14 and uninstalled/reinstalled the app. Unfortunately, it's not coming back out.

Unit was faulty, wired correctly but screen would just go black and blast a terrible beep sound. Returned for a refund. Quality assurance for products needs to be increased
