Easy and effective
Really easy to install and connect to my Yale smart lock. Ideal for giving my son independence without worrying about a key getting lost. Also perfect to set up for anyone else without needing extra keys.

Has made living with the terrible Conexis....bearable
Have had nothing but problems with the L1 Conexis. Terrible original app, so upgraded with a bridge and L2 insert to be able to use the newest app. Have suffered poor battery life since and abysmal connectivity from the app, standing for minutes at the door waiting for the lock icon to change from grey to....something! We've been locked out numerous times and had to rely on a hidden RFID tag to get in. This keypad appears to have saved the day. Installed it a couple of weeks ago, which was very easy as far as DIY jobs go, and it works great. Hasn't lost connection once. And the lock is behaving. The thing is tiny though, which is quite nice, and its a little bit flimsy. The fixings or back plate need to be sturdier for a more solid fix to the wall - it wiggles a bit. Happy so far. The Conexis isn't going in the bin yet!

Good for guest access
Overall this is a great little addition to a smart lock, Yale Hub and Access Module combination (Conexis L1 for me). It does have some teething issues as it was originally designed for another lock, i reported an issue with Yale Customer Service who have passed on to their development team, when paired with the Yale Access Module and Hub alongside the Conexis L1, this keypad does not indicate which keypad access user has unlocked the door (no username and no door unlocked message) it just shows when the door is opened, closed and locked again. I was advised now its being sent to their development team it should be fixed in a future firmware update. Other than that it unlocks the door well and works great for letting guests gain entry (e.g. Carers). One downside i believe is the fixing quality, it could do with a more robust securing feature somehow, as right now anyone who wants to make a quick buck can come along open the top and unscrew the keypad and walk off with it.

Honestly, don't even bother. I love the Yale stuff but this is cheap rubbish.
It took me ages to get it to pair with my Yale Connxis L1 (I have the August Smart module and wifi receiver in it) and when it did it was good. Unfortunately thats where the honeymoon ends... It's not even vaguely water proof. In any way shape or form. It was on the outside door frame for one night only in light rain and it got water logged and stopped working. It's just not fit for purpose. Sorry Yale - must try harder!

An expensive and essential add on for already an expensive lock
Work well. Not ip65 rated hence not sure on mounting outdoor as per the ad photos are applicable. I have purchased the master lock xl key box and left this keypad inside , hence now I have two tiered protection. I recommending this add on as it is the final tier of defense in case you forget your phone or keytags.

COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
EASY TO INSTALL AND CONNECT TO LOCK. THE BIG ISSUE IS, NO WAY OF KNOWING WHETHER WE PUT THE RIGHT OR WRONG CODE. HAVE TO WAIT AND TRY AGAIN. A SIMPLE BEEP SYSTEM OR LED REPRESENTATION WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. THE BIG ADVANTAGE IS IF YOU HAVE LOCKED OUT ACCIDENTALLY WITHOUT KEY FOBS OR PHONE. THIS IS YOUR LIFE SAVER

Expensive essential
This keypad is an essential extra for us with our L2 lock, and it works well except for the commit button at the bottom which says "Yale" instead of something meaningful like "Enter" or "Open" and thus makes giving instructions more complex.
