The delivery company had given us a window of 8a-5p. Luckily, I happened to be home all day that day. They arrived early afternoon and were speedy and polite. The trash can came in an enormous box, which my children thoroughly enjoyed. The can is lightweight and sturdy. The blue color is accurately portrayed in the product photo. Prior to use, you have to lock the wheels in place. They are not locked in place during transport due to the amount of space they take up. You have to slide the wheels out and use a rubber mallet to click the bar between the wheels in place. (FYI, if you are particularly week because of arthritis or age, you may want to ask someone to do this part. You have to whack the bar pretty hard to get it to snap into the slot.) You then screw a small metal bar over the wheel bar to keep it in place. I used an electric screw driver, but it would be easy enough to do this with a manual one. The trash can is quite large and fits quite a bit. It's easy to wheel around. My only warning is to watch for the lid. If you put it up and expect it to stay in place, you may get whacked in the head when it falls.

THIS IS A BEAST!!!! WAY BETTER QUALITY THEN OUR WASTE COMPANY. At a fraction of the cost, one year of trash pickup pays this off.

These are exactly what I needed. My old trash cans are not as big as this one and one of my old trash cans is cracked to the point where it is almost not usable anymore. I like that this trash can has wheels, which makes taking the trash to the end of my driveway much easier. I am very happy with it. The recycling container the city provided me was a small plastic bin, not nearly big enough to hold my recycling each week. This large recycling can holds much more and I am very happy with it. My only complaint is that barcode stickers were stuck directly to the cans, and they did not peel off easily. I will need to use goo be gone or something to try to remove the adhesive residue left on them from when I tried to peel off the stickers.

This is a great trash can. The negative reviews about it not rolling properly are likely due to either user error (not installing the parts properly) or receiving a previously loved trash can even though the page says "New". The first can I received had already been used by someone--it looked brand new, but the parts to attach the wheel carrier had already been installed, and one of the wheels was bent (as though something smashed up against it in a truck somewhere). Exchange was easy and the second can I received was brand new, with the wheel carrier hardware still in the factory ziploc bag with instructions. Pressing the wheel carrier bar into the bottom of the can requires a significant amount of force. I used a flathead screwdriver to start prying it into place, and then slammed it in with the heel of my hand. You should probably wear work gloves when doing this, since it could easily rip your hand open. Once installed though, the thing rolls perfectly!

The wheel design is awful, it has some huge u-bar underneath that falls down and scratches against the driveway when I move it. It would be nearly impossible to move if it was anything but driveway and filled to 95gal. The can itself is decent, but I’m very disappointed with the overly complicated and seemingly useless wheel axle design.

I’m happy with the Rubbermaid trash can. It was a bit pricey at $182, but a big box delivered it to my house for no extra cost. Waste Management forced us to get a can that could be emptied using the hydraulic arms on their trucks. I decided to get a 95/96 gallon while I was at it. This can is well made, rolls easily and quietly. I’m happy with it.

We were paying WM ridiculous high prices for picking up garbage once a week. Our town has free dump. This container is same size as WM and made super rugged. We have no bill anymore! Great Product!
